My Polo 1.2 TSI DSG

Post by thealbert »

Hello guys, I write from Italy and I am a proud owner of three years of a 1.2 hub on which I made a few tweaks, I hope you like it!
As soon as I can I insert photos!

Welcome thealbert and Andrea (my Italian friends).
Beautiful images with very interesting modifications, surely you will get many questions from other users about them.
Lucky for it. :D

Nice photos of a great looking car (not sure about those black wheels, though). Can you give more details of how you added those red door lights?

Installing lights door
connections per pole five gates are:
Front door driver, yellow / orange engine glasses and white / green lock
Front door on the passenger side, yellow engine glasses and white / green lock
Rear door left, yellow / black engine glasses and white / purple lock
Door rear right, yellow / black engine glasses and white / green lock
Before cutting or welding, always check with the tester to verify the operation!
Tape the wires with duct tape along with the existing wiring and leave about 15cm of wealth where there is the lamp connector!
The photos relate to the front door on the passenger side but the process is the same for all the doors!

I have not yet made this mod because the door panels are very expensive if you make a mistake when cuttingImage but I rescue this interesting information (diagrams) that I published on the Italian forum to warning/illumination lights on the doors.

Driver door

Left and right rear doors

Front passenger door

Pictures (with your permission thealbert)

+Supply from the connector on the unit window. (All is pin 16).

-Ground from the door contact. (see diagrams for exact pin each door).

In this way only turn on the light from the door which is opened.

I bought mine here:

http://www.aliexpress.com/premium/polo- ... =y&catId=0

... though if I'm honest, they're a bit of a waste of time. They fit perfectly, but don't really add much. Good job they were dirt cheap :)
