Due to the manufacturing date, you may need to purchase such a license in order to activate the CCS.
Ask your VW dealer, or search the official VW website for Brazil if they may offer CCS activation for your UP!(ECU).

I do not recommend the process of uploading a different file to your ECU if you are not in expert hands... this should be your last option.

Only three wires, I think it is quite simple.

Thanks!

I made some changes to Gannu 1 (from Team-BHP) his paint diagram. So this would be the right diagram for my car?

Ok, thanks.

I just retrofitted the new BCM. (from 85 to 87)
I copied over all settings from the old BCM (like this guide click) but now I have an issue with the radio.

To be clear, yesterday I fitted a new Kenwood bt73dab radio. And yes in hindsight I should have made an autoscan after I fitted the new radio. So I’m not sure if my fault codes are related to the new BCM or the new Radio.
The new radio seem to work ok.

In the 19-CAN Gateway module > Installation List i copied the same features that my old car had. The new BCM had 56 - Radio turn on but i turned it off. And saved the settings.

Are these faults related to the fact I have no original VW radio?
I am not sure but i think also the 56 - Radio option is new?

I tried to clear the codes but they keep comming back.

The two faults found in the diagnosis are due to the installation of a non-original radio. No problem.
If desired, disable the 56 Radio in 19 Gateway - Installation List, so that such faults do not appear every time you diagnose.

Sometimes it is not possible to disable Radio 56 from the GW inst list. I don't know the reason.

MPI versions = T56/29 (up) or T94/23 (polo 6C).
TSI versions = T94/56 or T94/61
* Depends on manufacturing dates. (and ECU type)

The most likely for your engine due to the manufacturing dates is 56.

Your CD software is more up to date than J, I think both versions of software support CCS.
I don't think it's pin 62, maybe in the following link the one that tried to help you meant pin 61.
https://www.upownersclub.co.uk/threads/ ... ost-129609

According to the VCDS reading the fault is in the wiring, or ECU pin.
Please make an exact drawing of the wiring you have installed.

I suppose to insert the pin into the ECU connector you first removed the pink / purple / vilolet locking mechanism. It is a common mistake because it appears that the pin is inserted but it really is not inserted if you did not remove the locking mechanism. (read this thread) viewtopic.php?f=56&t=65431&start=285#p562849
Hi I'm joining this thread since I have one VW UP too, but not the TSI Model. Besides it has the automated transmission instead of the manual one, I really don't understand what VW did to keep the CCS off this model ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It has the CSEA engine and I'm trying to do the retrofit too. Do you have the wiring diagram? Thank you!

Hi mateusr.

I have the CSEA engine diagrams for Fox/CrossFox but there is no indication for CCS in this ECU, so the diagrams are not useful in this case.
The pin assigned to the CCS for petrol ECUs with two 56-pin connectors is the T56a/29 ('B' connector) but they are CHYA, CHYB ECUs.

hmm... try it.

Two wires reach this fuse SC5, one is black (INPUT - SC5B -) and the other is black-gray (OUTPUT - SC5A -) and you must connect the CCS power wire to the output wire (SC5A).
A or B should be engraved on the plastic on the back of the fuse box.

This fuse is dedicated to powering the reverse light switch (for future reference).

I think it is a good place to connect the CCS power, the other first four fuses are occupied by various important devices or connectors.
Bad news. I put the cable in the output wire and... nothing has been changed. The values still the same and the main switch continue to not response as in the vídeo. A man that was helping me with this told me that I need to take a license to active the function via ODIS and another man told me that my software version won't be able to activate the function and because of this I will need to copy the software from a Up! that have cruise control enable from the factory to use the file to change my ecu. I'm sad about it, but I think that I will buy this universal cruise control https://loja.onmotus.com.br/produtos/throttle-up-vw-up/
Do you think what they told me may be correct? Thanks to all the help anyway.
Hi, everyone. Happy new year!!!!
I have news about the cruise control retrofit in my Up!. The problem was in the stalk, so I have made a derivation between the pin 1 and 2 on the stalk to pass the power and it's solved and now the cruise control is working well. The correct pin in ecu CYTA is the pin 56/T94. Thank you ciclo for the help.

I have installed the cruise control only in december that's way I wait a long time to report. hahaha
But if someone needs help, I will be here to help as much as possible. 8)
I have installed in a another Up! and it's working well too and this retrofit is interesting for the most part of the owners.

Hi I'm new here and really happy about the electrical circuit diagrams.
I tired to update my seat ibiza 1.2 TSI, which should be similar to the polo in the wiring.

I connected now my controller the follwing:
Bildschirmfoto vom 2021-03-03 06-52-13.png
Bildschirmfoto vom 2021-03-03 06-52-13.png (11.63 KiB) Viewed 3144 times
In this wiring I'm missing the diode. I don't know which wire should be the one with the diode.
I'm I right, that ECU has to be connected to Pin 94/45, since it is a 1.2l TSI?

Sorry, that it is not directly a Polo questions, but if I'm right, this should be quite close, isn't it?
I tried several Ibiza forum but with no success.

Thank you a lot in ahead.
