6R Cruise Control Retrofit Problems

On the older clusters sold in India, there's no CC led. So no notification comes up.

I wonder if the problem is due to missing wires of CAN (communication network) between the stalKs and the instrument panel.

T41/2 and /3 go to steering angle sensor (slipring) and not to the stalks, right?

There is no cc led on my 2013 polo cluster. That is really cheap of vw.
I thought of soldering one but then I came across comments on the net stating the cc light stays on till the cc switch is on and not when the cc is actually engaged.
To fix the issue one needs to reflash (?) the EEPROM with suitable software (not vcds). But I am not an expert in this area and on otherhand I did not have time/ required software, importantly being single driver of the car I'd know it anyway.

I gave it a go, added the wires, but it gave me airbag errors and the car wouldn't start, like as if the immo kept kicking in. So off came the extra wiring and cleared the codes for it to start working again.
Definitely not the same wiring for this cluster, anyway got the CCS to work and that's what matters, maybe a cluster upgrade soon.

If anyone can help with the no communication with instrument cluster error would be great.

Have to say though, without your guides and gannus pics this diy would've been super difficult. So thanks a lot ciclo and gannu.

I have the question about part number for the stalks. I want upgrade a my Polo with CCS and TRIP-computer. According to ETKA I have to buy for my Polo (BY2013) the stalk with the partnumber 6R0 953 507C. On the Ebay I´ve found may stalks, who seems very similar with partnumber 6R0 953 521C. It seems to me that they are compatible. Maybe I'm wrong? Or, this number refers to angle sensor which is connected with the stalk?
