Got stranded on the highway with no power (feel a bit like Fernando Alonso, no power!)

No turbocharger pressure build up anymore. Could be anything from a broken N75 to a blown turbo.

The cause was found after some hefty oil cleaning:

Ruptured charge pressure hose.

Did some mod that other people already invented (i.e. the Russians, MadWaRLoCk, ciclo): Direct TPMS

The antenna is located in the rear bumper and connected to CAN powertrain, +30 (permanent 12V) and GND.
The part number is 3AA 907 273 F.

The modification of the parameters:
- Download RKDS Editor from Skoda Pilot version 1.0.0.9
- Make the desired tire definitions and pressures
- Save as XML for VCP (very important)
- Open VCP
- Guided functions
- Apps
- Parameter upload tool
- Right upper list, type 65 and select Tire Pressure 1
- Select 'open ZDC file
- Choose XML file
- Check EraseFullMemory
- Select Upload Parameter Data

Done

thank you Jasper 8)

Just found this picture of my rear bumper, decided to clarify some of the parts. I got a little anonymous parking damage, and I realised the bumper is quite easy to remove, despite the maze of wires...

The picture isn't quite up to date, but it will show you the parts as they were about a year ago (yes the TPMS sensor has been doing nothing for quite a while).

sorry for the JPEG artifacts...

Yep, it's now my favourite font actually. I used Humor Sans for a while (from XKCD) but I like Krabby Patty even more.

Hey iichel I have one question regarding Direct TPMS the tyre size selection in cluster comes from TPMS module or its in cluster ?
I am asking you because I have amarok cluster with stock software.
I have just edited wheel circumference value & some oil light signal setting.
If I install direct TPMS it will show tyre sizes of polo or amarok ?

You can use VCP to flash a new configuration parameter file into the TPMS unit (address 65).
The cluster has nothing to do with it, other than you need SW 0709 to have it display this.

Ok so TPMS module is responsible for tyre size.
Thanks a lot...😊

Yes, you can edit the parameters as I described above with i.e. RDKSEditor. It's a nice program.

Does the SW SW 0709 offer more than just RKDS? :?:
I have older SW (SW0608, HWH05, 18.09.2014), but I don't want to screw up my instrument cluster :D

I'm not sure what else it offers. HBA will work just fine on earlier software version.
I saw from earlier posts that 0709 seems to be the minimum

Maybe you could use 44? That's the one I'm using (+30)

Did some wiring today for the heated windshield... Still need to buy the windshield, but I was in the mood to prepare something.
More info: https://www.drive2.ru/l/466584357390254683/

Image

I only prepared the left side of the diagram. Since I ran out of fuse places, I decided to add a fuse carrier to the relay box: 6Q0937617B

So, the scheme goes
+30 from fuse holder in engine bay to 6Q0937617B (three fuses)
Fuse 1, 30A, from 6Q0937617B to relay J47 (643 relay)
T73a/50 (black connector) to relay
Wire from relay to the windscreen, two connectors in the plenum chamber.

Then there is a wire from the engine bay left side ground point to the ground point of the windscreen, below the interior light, on the inside.

Image

Remove a lot of stuff:
- Air filter
- ECU
- wipers
- Plenum chamber
- Wiper motor

Image

Then the wires are pulled from the inside out

Image

I marked the path of the positive and gnd wire with the red line. You can see the wires to the windscreen at the bottom of the windscreen, going to the left (red/yellow)

Image

And here you can see the red wire going to the fuse box in the engine bay:

Image

I'll probably move the red wire later on to a fuse on holder A
