I bought a pair of winter tyres (or tires?) for cheap.

They are in good shape.
The size is 195/50 R16 (OEM size for Polo 6R).
The rims are OEM VW 1J0 (golf mk5 generation), 16x6J 16 inch ET42, 5x100.

I didn't like it all black... so...

Hi,

I got 6C buttons. connected all working!

6C polo ever came with such Infotainment system frame?

I have sourced this frame from Ali Express! it has chrome line. Where as my all other trim has brushed aluminium finish.

You too have brushed aluminium trim so asking!!

Thanks to firegrafik and RoFireman from Russia
Where can I find that instrument cluster and will it fit on a 6r 1.2 tdi? Also what coding is needed for it to work?

I think there is one for sale here: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=75240
You need someone to adapt the immobiliser to your car.

Oh boy it ain't cheap. So except for the immobiliser it should be mostly plug and play? Note my car is as basic as they get so my MFD doesn't even display mpg.

Yes, I dont think you need to add anything to make the cluster work, but I would recommend to install either TRIP buttons or a MFSW to operate the MFD+

I have lots of plans for my car. This thread here would be like "the goal" hehe. I do have some priorities tho before I get into more technical stuff. I'm currently looking for new wheels, mfsw, reconditioning the interior with alcantara and leather seats and for the love of god get an armrest. I'm sure I'll read this thread dozens of times in the future.

Hi iichel..
I'm testing 5Q0 radars on my 6R, I get the blind spot menu in assistants, in that I am not getting brightness adjustment sub menu. My MFA+ is having SW 805, is it possible in 5Q0 radars or is it exclusive to 7E0 radars?

I cannot say I'm certain, but it seems that way. Perhaps MaDwArLoCk knows a bit more about this. He is the 5Q0 radar expert and knows a lot about these MFD+ screens.

Ok iichel thank you. I will certainly speak to Slavik and find out the possibilities of 5Q0 radars.

I got blind spot menu as well as RTA in cluster by default without touching cluster eeprom. I guess SW 805 and above have BSA+RTA activated by default.

I checked VCDS adaptations of 3C address, couldn't find brightness adjustment option there.

I'm still testing, will share the observations and results after final installation. 👍

Hi iichel

I spoke to Slavik, he confirmed that LEDs brightness adjustment menu in MFA+ cluster is not available for 5Q0 radars. :|

Couldn't find the brightness adjustment option in adaptation channels either.

Interestingly, the LEDs brightness adjustment in 5Q0 radars is controlled by RLS. I have installed RLS but light sensor part is still not activated in my BCM. Yet to install Autolight wiring which I've received from Master Ciclo.

Will find out soon.

I'm curious to hear, thanks for checking. Very interesting info!

Perhaps you can already active the light sensor function in VCDS without the auto light? Byte 13 bit 7.
