added a new module... OEM TV Tuner 3C0919148B + card reader 4F0919805

Still needs some wiring done (shortening the antenna wires, placing the antennas, making GND for the antenna amplifiers)
But the beginning is there. Now to figure out where to get a DVB-T smartcard to enjoy television.

Haha yeah, I'm gonna fill all the tick boxes in that gateway

There is always some room for new mods...
TPMS direct is already in place (module, wheel sensors) but I need a BCM with LED headlights, kessy and 090B/C gateway.
The challenge is to find one...
And then to build it in I need my MM-007 to adapt the kessy keys to start/open the car...

it's a bit more complicated.

The HEX 04 in byte 0 of the gateway is to make the RVC on address 6C work.
With the gateway coding of 002200 (what it should be, ideally) it gives an error in 6C 'module coded incorrectly'.
With 042200 it thinks it's an transporter and it will work.

Going back to light switch issue.

6C light switches with red illumination.

Do you know if the light switch (6C0941431) in the following image has pin7? It is dedicated to the rear fog light in the light switches for Golf6, 6R, etc ...

For 6C there are two light switches that are exactly the same in terms of appearance, but according to ETKA they work different way, the one shown in the previous image and this one:

5G0 is more similar to the Golf 7 switch, but does not have pin 7.

(I know that the management of front and rear fog lights in 6C is through a single cable, but the important thing is to know if it has pin 7)

All powered by Poland (allegro.pl and spacewalker)

I'll have to do some wiring next week, for now I'm happy the parts are all here.

7E0971584 ../B/C can be modifyed to 5G0971584E (by change the blue/white wire of position, it's a simple wiring with three connectors and three additional terminals)
If I understand correctly the airbag should be changed by a Golf7 GTI Clubsport airbag ....? or is it the airbag that you already had?
Where are the modules images? Green box?

Yeah, I know... my life is a bit like my living room. Very happy place but very chaotic

Someone was interested in my old 1K8 steering wheel with the airbag so I bought another airbag to replace it.

The wiring that needs to be done is just a bit of making it all nice and structured.
For installing the kessy, there was a lot of wiring added to the steering column (start button, electronic steering column lock, T41 to T16, T16 and T10 for stalks/slipring).
It was all done well, but wires were a bit too long, not structured... and it was all a bit too many. It was chaos.

I now routed the wires to the T16 and T10 (left and right side of the stalks) to a T28 connector (1K0937702C + 1K0937722D).

left side on the photo = T10 = windscreen wiper + MFA
right side on the photo = T16 = cruise, high beam, indicator

i'll make another connector T12 (6Q0972726 + 6Q0972736) between the wires to the slip ring T16 (powertrain CAN, comfort CAN, LIN, +15, +30, GND, horn, airbag)
This way I can easily undo the wiring to the slip ring and add in between the wirings to the extra modules. T16 see below:

In the next days, I must also add the wiring to two extra modules:
- multifunction module connected to CAN comfort and the LIN wire of the MFS module
- an emulator to make bluetooth work, connected to BCM LIN
These are necessary to make the CC by MFS work.

Thank you very much for all the clarifications, it's actually quite simple, at least for me.

It is absolutely correct that you redo the wiring in an orderly and structured way if you add new wires due to the combination between the new and old mods. The appearance of the final result is also very important ... new connectors with more slots, cloth tape, clamp ties, etc ...
In the same way and as you know I redid my CAN lines when I added the TPMS direct. (ok, it also had a double intention for SW updates with VCP

)

The sound system is the complete dynaudio system from a VW Scirocco 1K8.
It's very good, especially if the volume goes up, the clarity of the sounds is very good.
I had the plug and play sound system before from VW/Helix and there was too much bass in it.
Without a sound sytem, the sound of the RNS510 with the standard 6R0 6-speaker system wasn't bad but it's like listening to the music.
With the dynaudio feels like you're in the middle of the concert.

I must clarify I listen a lot to metal music (iron maiden, metallica, led zeppelin) and rock (eagles, queen, pink floyd) and especially the live concerts really come alive.

Ok, thanks, I know perfectly what you are saying, I had the Bose sound system in other of my cars.
I will install some tweeters on my 6R, to clarify the sound in the rear side. It will be something simple.

It was quite a special experience. I always was very happy with the stock speakers in the 6R. But then once I had a sound system, it was like a new car, the same you describe with MFA to MFA+.
Maybe 1K8035411A will work in the same way. It's the scirocco speaker for the 8-speaker configuration in the scirocco, but without the sound system. So it's in parallel with the rear speaker from the door.
