Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.2TDI Bluemotion
iichel, I need to do some tests with BCM 090 on your car, and I need your help if you want.
I'll explain: I have this BCM 090
I tried in my R-line, but did not want to work fully because I think it belongs to a car with start/stop system, then I'll send it to you together with the other thing ... lol .... that we have pending (still without any news from the vw dealer).
All you have to do is install on your car, copy and paste your current encoding, BCM, Gateway and Battery Regul, and test if it works. You should also configure the keys, but this is no problem, I would tell you how to do it, enable and disable (very easy).
It is just a test, when you finish the test, you resend me the BCM.
What do you think about it?

So I did the 6C tail light retrofit. Looks very good! no errors etc with home made adapters.
If anyone is interested, I'm selling a UK set (lights + adapters)

LOL!...
What have you done with your xenon headlights?...
Clearly taillights 6C illuminate perfectly, better than 6R ones. Excellent mod.

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.2TDI Bluemotion
i just visited the yearly check-up so it had to be relatively standard:
- 15x5,5j wheels with 185/60/R15 wheels
- halogen headlights
- low-emission setting (so no chip tuning and closed grille)
swiss agencies don't have a sense of humour when it comes to car modding

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.2TDI Bluemotion
yes haha
My girlfriend Rosa decided to also mod my R(osa) Line Polo to make it even more unique
the result:
I added the bandage for extra dramatic effects.
so some nice company is now doing some magic of their own to make it disappear

Recently a big truck also collaborated with some of those mods on rear bumper of my Polo 9N3.
A scratch of black color that I have to polish.

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.2TDI Bluemotion
So, the Rosa Line has received many new 'updates'.
A new BCM because the old one was broken (right parking lights did not activate. at all)
A fresh paintjob on the left side due to a small parking accident
Its summer tires on the mallory rims
A new set of brake discs on the front, after 110.000 km (70.000 miles) they were worn out
The new bcm works like the old one, except for the coming home.
leaving home works fine with the oem ciclo auto lights set. But coming home, nothing happens.
i checked the coding, both coming home and leaving home are checked in vcds
both fog and low beam work with this
ciclo do you maybe know what this could be?
I checked coding of the RLS and the 09 module and both looked ok.

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.2TDI Bluemotion
Your problems are the most difficult to solve because I already know that you have checked everything ...
The signal when pulling high beam stalk goes to pin T73a/62 and now the BCM activates Coming Home if you have the keys out of ignition switch or 0 position. The light switch must be in AUTO.
It may be that with new BCM and its new software does not work Coming Home or must to activate more bits in another byte... and finally the Coming Home function is fully automatic.
Will be necessary see an vcds autoscan of your new BCM.
