iichel, there are some differences of the wires position for sure between 8,2 and 9,0. Many Polo sedan owners in Russia have the expirience with the wires replacement while retrofiting ABS8,2 to ESP9,0

yes yes I agree there are differeces between ABS8.2i and ESP9.0i (with the addition of the ESP disable button).
I'll investigate some more for differences between ESP8.2i and ESP9.0i (polo 6R version).

RKA is indirect tire pressure monitoring system. Works only with ESP system. But it presented not in any Polo with ESP, only as option. If you don't have it you could also add it to this retrofit.

The button is in glove box

Oh, ok, so I have it. It's for TMPS which works only on ABS sensors, sometimes after change wheels I need to push this button to disable warning in instrument cluster :D
One time the TPMS light came on when I was driving along an uneven road. So IMO it doesn't work very well :P

My opinion is absolutely the opposite. I have it since 2015 and in summer 2017 I had first time warning while I had a 200km trip to my parents. I stopped, looked at all wheels around but they no one seemed to be flat out even a little. So I decided to continue my trip. On the other day I checked the pressure in the all tires and found out, one wheel has 2,0 bar instead of 2,3 bar I had pumped before. But visually it could not be noticed. I went to the workshop and they found a small nail in the tyre. So I was very surprised that the RKA is a very sensitive system.
But when I installed winter tires I didn't have any warning. Maybe it is because I checked the tire pressure regulary and set and control the same pressure for each wheel.

I pump the wheels after I put them in the car, usually I drive up to the gas station with a compressor ;)

Now you have TMPS2, so you have the best sensitive system

BTW. Do I need anything else except brake calipers and new wheels bearing housing when changing the front discs to a larger one?

further part of my questions:

1. After change ESP/ABS pump do I have to bleeding the brake system in this way:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_Q-mcV8Hp4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkd7iq-dIQ0
:?:

2. I had RCD310 with FM receiver in rear window and on the roof.
Now I have RNS510 and.. I would like to install 3C0035507N (GPS + GSM only).

Can I use normal FAKRA wire (like this: https://www.masterantena.pl/przedluzacz ... enska.html) to GPS/GSM?
Is the color of the plug important?

3. Sometimes I listen to the radio, RNS510 needs two FM antennas.. so I need to install 2 antennas in rear window similar to VW Scirocco.

Installation in 6R:
workshop-manuals.com/volkswagen/polo-mk5/vehicle_electrics/communication/infotainment/aerial_systems/overview_of_aerial_systems/aerial_system_for_vehicles_with_radio_system

iichel told me, I need two FM receivers in the rear window. And the three-wire connector will be soldered to the rear window.
Image
source: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index ... ic=68916.0

I need two places to connect amplifiers, so I should solder 3-wire connector to my glass.

Ichel wrote me:
You will have these wires to the window:

At the left, you will mount the 8, replace the old factory white wire to heat the window
At the right, you will mount the 10, replace the old factory white wire to heat the window

These are the filters

And you will solder one wire to the bottom of the window, that is the little black connector with three wires.
This will go into the antenna amplifier. Like on the Golf 5.

You only need 8 and 10, that is Polo factory equipment.

I did also 9, as in the guide in the attachment.
(I hope you are not angry for the quote and it may be useful to others ;) )

Installation instruction that iichel sent me (from Golf V forum):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1FSMi ... sp=sharing

Or maybe there is a simpler way that will allow the radio to work smoothly? I'm a bit afraid of soldering to the rear window...

Does the radio on one antenna from the rear window work very poorly?
Does anyone have experience connecting two FM wires with an adapter to one connector in the rear window?

I found this:

https://www.drive2.com/l/6967620/ - I don't understand what ZZZhuk did, but probably it's without GSM

https://www.drive2.com/l/453033151455823111/ - only FM (similar to ciclo's)

Yes, you can, its connectors are universal for all types of connectors, the last one on below image.

Ok, so I was talking about FM antenna with my mate (Golf MK5 owner), and he told me, that soldering wire to rear window is the best option for RNS 510. With adapters like 2 to 1 FM wire we can have errors in VCDS logs (checked in Golf 5).

So I believe it's "must have", and now I don't looking for other options :D

As I wrote earlier, I plan to upgrade my brakes. The choice fell on disc brakes from Polo WRC Street.

I was able to find the Polo WRC Street brakes on eBay.de:

Rear:

thanks to Michel, who helped me to buy and send them, now I have these in my room:
Image Image Image Image

In next month I will buy 2 pieces of wheel bearing housing and hand brake, so then in March I will can change brake calipers :)

Also thanks to Alexander for a list of changes pins in connector, which will be needed to correct install the ABS/ESP pump Bosch 9.0i.

Does changing the Pump to the Bosch 9.0i apart from being able to code larger disks will have some other advantages in my case?
Now I have Bosch 8.2, but I have ASR, HHC, RKA (aka TMPS1), ESP Button..

byte 16 set to HEX 15 will allow you to completely disable ESC instead of just ASR
but apart from that... well... 9.0i is better than 8.2i...
and you'll learn a bit more I guess
