Hi guys, couple of quick questions please.
We have just been to the dealers to look at the wife's new polo blue GT and although we have specified it with the convenience pack, we noticed that the rear view mirror just looks like a plain unit with no buttons or lights, unlike her current unit on her existing Blue GT. Has this feature been dropped (it still says its part of the pack in the latest brochure and price list), or is this a new design controlled by the touch screen stereo ? It does have the auto lights, wipers and folding mirrors, so we know the pack is fitted ?
Secondly, and we don't know how, we meant to order the car with the passenger airbag deactivation switch (as per her current car), but somehow we have missed it off the order. We do use this feature quite a bit when the dog is in the front seat (clipped in with a harness or course). Is it possible to add this feature relatively easily, or is it a right royal pain after build ?
Thanks.

The mirror is controlled by the CMS (touch screen) so no buttons.
No idea on the airbag, but you always need to be careful when making changes to that system.

I have the impression that the airbag switch can be a dealer fit retro-fit option (accessory), well in the past it was, I can't say what the cost might be though.

the 6C rear view mirror comes without buttons. in contrast to the 6r mirror, which does have a button and a light.
the airbag deactivation can be retrofitted, but beware that it likely will require a swap of the airbag ecu
