Polo 6R ABS CODING

Hello,

I'd like to get help with my Polo, problem is ABS Long Coding is all zeros,

Some time ago, there was a problem with an ECU, and as result there was swap of ECU, Instrument Cluster and Immo, everything runing smooth, but
there is no coding in ABS, and when I try to input a code, VCDS says something like this "Coding Rejected. Error 22: Conditions not correct or request sequence error".

I have a question, about from where VCDS reading info about VIN for autoscan?

That may be a problem.
As I mentioned earlier I had sci and Instrument Cluster sealed from other car. And that VIN from AutoScan is one coded in Instrument Cluster.
But rest of a car has other VIN for example engine, radio etc., the same as chasis, windows etc.

Should I try to calculate my coding with this one? Or there would be a problem due to "wrong" vin in IC?

Abs will not code until all vins are the same in instrument cluster, engine and immobiliser.

I don´t think so. ABS module recodes itself upon VIN mismatch. So you MUST first fix this incongruence and then proceed to re-code the module, and probably initalize G85 basic settings.
If you bought an used cluster, you might need to have a professional tool to "virginize" it first, and then proceed to pair your keys, immo, etc.
VCDS is only able when cluster is in "brand new" condition, eg. odometer reading 0.0km (and a maximum of 100km).

Don´t give up. I think you have two options:
1- Go and find someone with the right tools to make your cluster match the rest off the car.
2- Buy a brand new IC, and then proceed to match.
3- Buy a tool like vagtacho (you still need to see if compatible, a tool may not be compatible with your IC) and do it your self.

Hello guys,

I needed some help from the coding guru's here, I have a Polo 1.2L TSI with the DSG Transmission, RHD. I've upgraded the front brakes from stock 256mm to 288mm and rear are still the stock drum brakes. I needed help with the long code, I tried making the changes to byte 02 and byte 10 of the existing long code but VCDS throws an error 31: Request out of range.

My present long code begins with 62DD.... similar to that of rdasadia. Mine has the CBZJ engine and VIN number is MEXE15607FT100389. Could the guru's here help to generate a long code that I can possibly copy and try out for my module to see if it accepts it. It would be greatly appreciated.

Does your abs unit have ESP?
Anyway, on practice, front 288 and rear drum brakes configuration I have met only on Skoda Rapid. So VW ABS control unit firmware could not be prepared for such configuration, and that's why it doesn't accept such coding.
Mine ABS control unit with firmware 6R0 907 379 AS also doesn't accept such coding. So the only advice I have is to retrofit rear brakes to the disk type.

All that Polo on drive2.ru are retrofited front 288mm, and most of them have abs without ESP.
As for rear axle. There is one way to avoid axle replacement. One guy in Russia produces steel plates for rear axles to make disk brakes mounting possibility.
