Polo Bluetooth screen.....

Hi all

I bought a 2014 polo match which has the Bluetooth kit. However the screen was missing. So I went to eBay, and bought one cheap enough. It arrived today and I popped it straight in the cradle, and I got an error message. Something to do with system recovery, and a usb Key needed. Apparently a common error.

So I went straight back to the seller and asked for a refund on the screen. But then I had a thought....

Is the error message generated from the Bluetooth module fitted to the car, or the screen/head unit ? Would I get the error if I replaced this heads it with another?

Does anyone know?
