Or full brightness all the time (DRLs and Parking light/Sidelight) if BCM Byte23 Bit5 enabled, except when turn signals/hazard lights are active and light switch knob is on side/parking light position if BCM Byte23 Bit7 enabled...
...that it makes a very sofisticated effect...

It seems that in the POLO 2018 the turn signals are integrated into the daylight LED module.

Ok. So the bixenon headlight does have sophisticated system.

So, the "older" DRL in bumper alongside the Foglight which is powered from T17/3 will not have 2 brightness settings right? These type of DRL will turn off completely once the headlight is on right?

Older lights with a single tungsten filament only play a role.

Ok. Latest Development.
I've got two 6R Halogens friends who unfortunately bought the china's replica (before knowing my previous experience with the headlight) and ask my help to sort out atleast the right wiring for these replica without having issues with their BCM 087K etc. So i've been thinking to find solution for them especially to get the side/parking lights working as it is and additionally a DRL that only power up while the switch at "0".

I hope iichel/ciclo can help me out confirming the following, before i suggest the connection to them. They dont mind the single setting brightness without dim function as these replicas DRL unit doesnt even have same brightness as the original.

NO.
Rear DRLs?

To add in the diagram:
T10/10 original ---blocking diode>--- T10/10 replica headlights

Maybe it works or maybe not, who knows with those replica headlights.

Oh yes! [emoji1360] i keep forgetting the side lights connection to both front/rear!!

Hurm. With the last bcm 090 in my position. I may offer one of them to upgrade the bcm max. But still, 10pins replica is still a headache.

I would like to think of having a relay instead of double connection with blocking diode. But it may not make the bcm happy.

Btw. All left is to really test the actual connection. Will wait till they hand me the headlights. Another issue is to think how to disable the double high beam from the internal wiring of these replicas and use this as cornering lights.
Remember the SB34 with 30A? I bet that the reason of having 2x main beam
But then I'm not sure whether it will give the bcm shutter control + xenon for highbeam or just the shutter without the light. Another mystery to solve

I guess those headlights are not designed for that those lights to work as cornering lights. :?:
