The Denver and Detroit GTi wheels for polo BCD 5x100 are only in 17". Calgary wrc rims are 18" 5x100. Bigger OEM rims you will not find for the polo 6R

Btw. Need some inputs on this

1) Once i went to dealer and install this new cluster, will there be a problem if i remove this new cluster and reinstall my old cluster again for testing? I plan to modify the old cluster eeprom. so i will need to reinstall back to check. will the immobilizer gives me problem?

anybody know?

you'll be fine. just be sure that you get the radio working again. it might need the code or the component protection to be re-enabled once you change cluster. be careful.

no problem. the only problem you can run into, is that the mileage is different. I know ciclo ran into this issue with his 1.2 TSI manual. i haven't had this problem with my 1.2 TDI manual. his engine did not start. mine will start with any km

Erm. just to clarify when u said the mileage different.

i know the last odometer from the old cluster will the last figure before i change to new cluster. means after km done on the new cluster, when i put back the old cluster, it will still show the last mileage. right?

so do u mean that the engine will not start when the engine knows the difference in mileage?

but as long as u put back the new cluster, it should be ok right? this is where im worried. lol

it will be fine if you do't drive. if you do drive, the mileage on one of the clusters will increase.
that might be stored elsewhere too (i.e. the DSG computer). i'm not sure about the engine... but i guess that's the reason ciclos car won't start.

ok. thanks iichel. i hope i will not need to start the engine. just to test ignition on the modified eeprom of the old cluster. then directly install back the new cluster.

The kms/miles of instrument cluster and engine must always be the same so the engine unit does not activate the immobilizer (in case you try start the engine with your old IC).

If you turn the ignition key up to Acc only, no problem

If the immobilizer is activated with the old IC  there is no problem if you reinstall the new IC. Clear the DTCs and your engine will start again.
