1) BCM : Byte 71 Bit 7 enabled: Works fine now.

2) I completed installation of AFS. However I am unable to code the AFS module. The module is bought directly from a VW dealer from China. Please check the attached picture. I have checked both "Yes" & "No" option as mentioned in the error but no results.

You'll have to enter some values in the WSC/importer/equipment number fields. You'll find them in the vcds options screen.

Hi rdasadia,

Do you have rain closing working in your car? Mine has factory RLS and rain closing is not working. Whereas rain closing is working for whoever installed the RLS sensor on their own.

Also have you fixed mirror auto closing?

Thanks,
Sakthi

Rain closing works fine.
Not auto closing. I will have to change the door modules.

Working on ambient lighting in my polo 6R. Request following clarification,

1) Have already procured 7P6 919 390 A (KT1). However I assumed they will supply female connectors also, but haven't. Please tell me the part number of matching connectors.

2) Have understood almost all wiring in the below diagram. However not able to understand the connections in the marked area (Red Circle). What is "L28"& U1, U2 U3?

Take the feed for ambient lights from the T6/3 wire in dimmer connector (signal 58), take this new wire to the fuse 1, slot SB1a, install a 5A fuse, from slot SB1b run the wire to T4/2 connector.
T4/1 is ground.

T4 connector
8K0973754

Note: AliExpress T4 connectors have the numbering in reverse order to the originals. 😁

Forget my scheme/diagram, currently my setting of ambient lights is different, similar to what I have told you before. The reason is that I want more and more power in the ambient lights since I have them installed and coded in our Golf Mk7.5, which uses the footwell lights for the ambient lights function too.
With the Golf MK7.5 I have discovered that I love driving with the ambient lights on my feet. 😍

So as I understand with this simple wiring the new "ambient" lights will be dimmed/brightened with other red lights of buttons , head unit , instrument cluster?

1) Check Below Picture of GPS Antenna for MIB 2. Any idea where can it be press fit in polo 6R?
Hello rdasadia!... this is patil :)

I have a suggestion for installing GPS antenna for your MIB2 in your 6R. :D

You can buy a OEM sharkfin antenna with rod(part number in picture), which houses GPS module, FM and GSM. It fits perfectly in our 6R and work perfectly. 8)

You need to buy GPS extension cable 5M to connect to your MIB2. Link here:https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3288284 ... 4c4dLv6rI6

GPS module catches satellites instantly and FM reception also improves significantly over stock rod. You can leave GSM connector unused.

Here pictures of my installation: 8) 8)

Hi Fernando. Sorry to bump this old post, but is there any chance you can tell me the part number for the reinforcement frame for the vanity light (shown in the above picture) ? I looked on ETKA, but I couldn't find it. :(

Hi Patil,

Would you be so kind if you can post the long coding of your MIB 2 (Address 5F) and also the log of adaptation channel of the same. To take the adaptation log you can follow the instruction as follow. Thankyou.

Hi rdasadia,
This is my current long coding of address 5F:
02620001FF00000011110001010808001F0100D400200100CF

I've never made adaptation channel map of address 5F, but I will make one for you and post here. I need little time, will post over weekend.
Your Mib2 is Chinese version right?
