I'm having some trouble activating the rain closing feature.
When i try enabling "rain closing active" BCM--Byte4--bit6 i get the error message "Error 31: request out of range"
But the wired thing is that rain closing is set to active in RLS--Byte0--Bit2
Anybody got same issues?
Does my car even support rain closing?

I'm afraid it's not possible with your BCM/RLS/WRMs. (I had exactly the same units configuration as you from the factory)
In any case, it is still unclear how to properly encode this function. (with new BCMs/WRMs/RLS)
Someone told me that there are European legislations that greatly restrict the functioning of locking systems in cars, but I do not remember any of this because I was never interested in this function.

I dont think the newer RLHS's (Rain, Light, Humidity Sensors) fitted to the 6C support rain closing, sure the issue has been encountered on lots of newer MQB based models, the 6C sharing much of the newer MQB electronics.

Yes, it could be, however we are talking about of the 6R units evolution.

PS. maybe you noticed the other fault codes...i could not get rid of the HVAC errors even tho I tried @iichel solution by changing adaption channel 2 - value = 1. (somehow it doesn't change the value..)
