Hi everyone just a quick question got a polo blue gt was thinking about changing the alloy wheels..... does anyone know what size wheel I can go up to with out any problems plus any ideas on what style many thanks

I think it's 17 inch without problems, and then 18inch with a bit of rubbing when turning.

Just make sure the tyre diameter matches original so as not to affect speedo and insurance and ensure the width is suitable for the rims.
Radius changes also affects effective gearing based on final drive ratio. Smaller combo faster acceleration lower top speed and visa versa.
Biggest issue is lower MPG with larger rims (alloy wheel density higher than tyre + air) and usually higher un-sprung weight which affects suspension, ride, cornering etc - explains a little why race cars tend to use small rims.
