At last I was able to read your topic in its entirety, a beautiful and pleasant topic.
Thank you very much ag69.

My notes

- You can install the multifunction steering wheel 6C0419091H with paddles, the backlight will also work perfectly with your current BCM.
No need wiring installation (it's from factory in your 6R).

- You can install the cruise control with your current BCM. You need new stalks with buttons for cruise control and wiring installation from T41 to BCM and ECU.

- The tweeters are installed in parallel to the front speakers. Really easy.

I subscribe to your topic. Make here all your questions.

Another diagram (below). You can see that it is the same but the wires color is different, so it matters is the numbering of the pins/terminals in the connectors.
T4/3---T2/1,,,, T4/1---T2/2

I like the OP with the list of insignificant but "nice to have" trim parts that VW chose not to fit, I might look further into that!

I've already bought and fitted a few bits of trim that VW South Africa could not be bothered to fit - battery terminal covers and manual locking access point covers for rear doors!

Flip key bought in from Russia, I suspect that your issue there is, that would have been a used but in as new condition flip key that has had a new uncut lock blade fitted to it. Its transponder will have been coded already so would probably not accept an "initial" coding, though that car's original keys will accept a "secondary re-coding. So, what you need to do is, to buy a new transponder of the type that VW Group use, and carefully replace transponder in your new flip key, then pay again for all the keys to be re-assigned to that car, which is a pain and means that you would have been cheaper buying a new flip key from VW - but what is done is done, so a warning to all others considering buying and using a used flip key - replace the transponder before handing it into VW for coding. I think that these chips only cost about £5.0 >£7.50.

Thanks for reply Rum4mo.

You are absolutely right. The key was listed as removed from a car fitted with new uncut blade and empty/clean transponder. Seller said that with some software (i thought VCDS), i can extract security/secret key and then program new key.
VW charges around 100 USD for a normal key and 200 USD for a flip key. This key was listed for me 40 USD and locksmith charges of 10 USD.
In addition i had seen some videos and thought i could do that with original keys and VCDS. This tempted me and I bought the key. (just like few other items i bought and they are not working :( )

I had taken this key to VW authorized service center and convinced them to try coding/programming.
Though I could not record the procedure, they changed the initial value of 2 to 3 keys and started inserting and turning ignition on one by one. (I had received one flip key and one normal key)
I could see "1/3" and "OK" followed by "2/3" and "OK" message in instrument cluster.
Once 3rd (russian key) was inserted and ignition turned on, nothing happened.
We tried couple of times. Also changed the order/sequence of keys but in vain. That person tried few times and then gave up.

Somehow in VCDS 17.x.x i could not locate where keys could be programmed. (and this is where kept ignition on for 2.5 hours and learned a lesson of keeping engine on instead of only ignition on)

here is snippet from VCDS scan while i played with the keys:

A source in VW told me that every car details are on server (in germany) and it is IMPOSSIBLE to add a new key unless you buy from them.
I assume you all know but we can have "8" yes eight keys for a car.

and about transponder -- you are right again - ebay has transponders for sale for few dollars, but then again we don't have any check to know they are clean unless we buy and try? (please correct me here)
Since we can program keys --after changing to new cluster. So cant we add (and then program) keys using VCDS?

VW Polo Cargo Boot Compartment Luggage Mat Divider - 6R0061162

This is one of my not so straight and seamless ( or rather failed) VW accessory purchase.
Got impressed with this Boot Luggage Compartment tray. Pictured in such way that i started day dreaming to get one.
Image

Found and ordered one for myself. As usual it was not easy. Also it is quite a large piece.

Looking at the link:
https://www.drive2.ru/l/457717070990162852/
Noticing my car boot sides does not have grooves. Upper tray would have been difficult. So thought atleast we can get corner support fitted so tray remains fixed.
Theoretically missing pieces were corner plastic parts (6R0858847-6R0858848) and screws for same.
Image

But ....
This is how my boot looks. (Rear bench is not 60/40 but entire one folds)
Image

Check the corner behind rear passenger seats.
They are sort of cross member of chassis/frame.
Image

When I tried to put them for support, they would not align. Try any position, angle it wont fit.
Image

Image

Image

One thought was just cut of some part and then screw fit them. But there are no holes on the side metal panel.

Spaces to be filled in addition to corner behind back seat.
Image

Image

So got some cushion foam 1" thick odd. Cut them just so as to pack the item (ie this tray) in large box :(
and this is how it looks.
Image
May be in future, I would get some carpet and cover the foam to look bit clean.

Strangely this authorized accessory is/was listed on VW. However 6R0858847 and 6R0858848 are marked as not for this model. So not sure if any were sold and how it was fitted.

On plus side, the tray build is good. Partitions can be arranged as per need. There is one long divider plastic part which can separate tray horizontally. Three smaller fitments can let you arrange the compartment by size of choice vertically.
Best part is boot remains clean. Even if you stuff wet, dirty, muddy things in tray. All you have to do is take entire tray out, clean it and put back it in.
Your car boot carpet remains trouble free.

you can cut a pair of holes in the carpet and then there will be some screw holes behind them for the 6R0858847 and 6R0858848
