Hi.

I have installed BCM MAX 090 D in Polo sedan in India. Shardul is my friend. The car is same like sharduls car except it have normal fog lamps while sharduls car have cornering fog lamps. I have just changed canbus lines from bcm to instrument cluster for now. I have done same thing on one more car but it was manual transmission car. Issue is after bcm max reverse light stoped working. Its a dsg car. I tried everything possible but not able to get power for reverse light. Old bcm works perfect for reverse light. If reverse light issue get solved i am planning to install bixenon headlights with headlight adaptation wiring.

Nikhil BCM is 090C I guess...

I suppose he has previous series BCM 7H0937090D.
It has to retrofit light wiring to the OEM diagrams with max BCM. The power for reverse light on max BCM is taken from another pin.

When MT:
- you must add a new 1.0 mm2 wire from T73b/12 BCM white connector to T5/1 Left Taillight connector. Isolate original T5/1.

Thanks ciclo and firegrafik but car is DSG Automatic so T73B/12 to T5/1 Wire is already present. In manual transmission also there is no need to add wire From T73B/12 to T5/1 unless we want to make reverse light bcm controlled (We done it in two cars in our group). I have checked pin no 12 in white connector with multimeter there is no voltage when car is in reverse gear. When i install old Bcm back Reverse Light starts working . I am posting autoscan of Polo Sedan in which reverse light is not workng.

I apologize, I misunderstood what you wrote. Culprit.

Well, the problem is that you have to feed the pins 63a and 68b of BCM connectors so that in turn will feed most of the lights, including the reversing light.
In short, you must do an installation like the one Shardul did.

I have few questions
Is level sensor & it's T4 connector common to all cars like Jetta , golf ,Passat etc...?
For power supply to AFS Module we need to take directly from fuse box terminal 15 to T26/23?

Polo 6R Sedan manufactured before 09.2011 had the rear axle same as Golf 4 and Zzzhuk's AFS part list is similar to Golf 4.
Zzzhuk's Polo is 2014 m.y. but he had installed rear disk brakes, and for this he had to change rear axle which supports disk brakes.

Polo 6R Sedan (Vento) after 2015 M.y. got another axle,AFS sensor mounting way, AFS control unit.
So this report should be taken into consideration

The problem is the there are several axles are offered for Polo 6R sedan (PR-1KH or 1KT, and PR-8Q1 or 8Q3) it is 4 axle part numbers. And in best way you should have axle with PR-1KT, 8Q3. When I retrofited rear disk brakes I bought such axle

I need to take level sensor 6R0 512 521A as my car is polo sedan other cars sensor won't fit?
What about it's T4 connector is it same like all cars ?
