Thank you Fernando, i apologize for picture quality but my xiaomi camera is crap. :D
ciclo wrote: Tue Aug 18, 2020 4:44 am I guess in Italy the hazard lights button is used a lot.
(as in many other places )
 Many drivers here prefer to use hazard lights instead of parking.
I barely used them but previous car owners loved to use them. Maybe I'll change the button one day.

Ciclo why are you not interested fitting BSD on your nice car?

RobertVW wrote: Tue Aug 18, 2020 2:05 pmMay I ask why 7E0 radars and not 5Q0?
Good question Robert. My car is bifuel, that means my IC has double fuel gauge (left one for gas, right one for petrol) -> https://i.postimg.cc/L6yp7pZ7/DSC06659.jpg
5Q0 can only be activated trought IC (if firmware supports it). The firmware of my IC is too old and does not support assistant. No firmware updates are available for my IC.
Moreover for the reason above I even cannot change the IC or I will loose gas gauge.

The only option I have is to use old gen radars which can by activated by a physical button.
Unfortunatelly this precludes the possibility to implement RTA which I'd like to have.

I have 7E0 radars and I can activate them through the IC, even though it is a new SW version.

Yep I've seen your video you did a great job but my IC firmware does not support BSD.

Were you able to activate RTA as well Michael?

No, I'm afraid not. RTA (rear traffic alert) is limited to 5Q0 modules

@Francesco
Right now I'm installing the BSD in my wife's Golf ... and many other things. viewtopic.php?f=58&t=72376&start=75#p572297

I still don't know what is the future of my 6R, at the moment it is my favorite toy.

Will you make the upgrade to 5Q0 modules in future?

No, I don't think so. I'm happy with the functioning I have now with the 7E0 modules.

It's okay that there are different options for installing the BSD on the 6R.👌 8)

Side assist project is going on.
A huge thanks goes to benzinkopf who shared with me his 3D models for mounting the radars in addition to provide essentials informations about this mod.

Hello guys, I got this door lights from aliexpress. I wish they would only light up on open doors.
Do you know which wires from door connector can I use?

I apologize that my English in 2015 was far from correct, rather it was regrettable. 😂

Simply amazing! That's exactly what I was looking for! A thousand times thank you! 8)

Following that wiring diagram, only the opened door lamp will light up (headlight on/off doesnt matter), correct?
