Hi guys, I had to regulate handbrake.

How can I find the correct regulation?

I keep armrest in 3rd position from bottom (3 clicks).
This is a picture taken with hand brake at 4th position (4 click).

Is that's OK?

Thanks

Take care that the handbrake levers at the rear brakes are in rest, when the handbrake is down, and start to move as soon as the handbrake lever in the cabin is moved.

That was exactly my mistake. This afternoon after 4 km I noticed smoke from rear disk. Handbrake was partially inserted.

I corrected the regulation. Now with 4 click car is braked. I do not have to use force to get 4th position. It that as it's supposed to be?

Did you replace the handbrake itself as well?

In found there is different handbrake for rear drum and disks. Actually I changed only the cables.

Good morning guys, I'm trying to find on forum that information but I'm still not sure about the answer. :?

I suppose my car doesn't have diversity antenna system because It doesn't have twin AM/FM connector.

In this case If I want to use a DAB radio I only need to change the AM/FM antenna on the roof with an AM/FM + DAB antenna or need something more?

Thanks in advance

... you will need the DAB antenna cable from the antenna base to the black connector on the head unit.

Regarding the shipment of the Gra High emulator, you should bear in mind that Russia is a country of great extension, and the shipments usually take the same time to reach the starting point from Russia as the trip across Europe, ... and that traceability events are only updated when new events arrive.

I remember once sending small parts to firegrafik for him to receive in a week or two, but the traceability made the envelope go around the world (I mean on the other side)... taking two months or so.
It was something exceptional, the usual is three/four weeks.

Thank you ciclo, that gives me some hopes. Shipment was done on 19th May and it's holding in board shipment center (Vnukovo) since 22th of May.

Probably the delay was mainly due to the covid-19.

I'm looking to buy a mirror switch such as your (6C model) on AE.

Can you please suggest me how to recognize VW genuine products?
I think too cheap one are not genuine (ie 10 € including shipment is probably fake).

Thank you Fernando!

In the meantime I was thinking to replace the gearshift gaiter with a new one.

I started disassemblying the old 6R gearshift to make some practice.
At this moment I've no idea how to remove the knob.

Anyway I'm not sure If 6C has same fixing method so I need to disassembly It from my car and check!
Have you ever do this job? :D
