Water pump probably gone on VW Polo 2011 1.2tsi ?

So I've got a strange noise coming from the engine bay when its revved up. Sounds like its coming from the water pump (Kind of a grindy type noise). The coolant has also gone down and there is a pool of liquid to the left of the water pump.
I'm going to have to get it priced up including labour at a garage.
Anything I should know about this before I start to ring around in the morning?
What other parts will need replacing/pulling/refitting?
I guess I'll need some more G12 coolant too.
Anyone like to estimate on total cost?
