I made the mistake of keeping coins in the armrest of my 2015 Polo 6C and now a 20 pence coin is stuck in the hinge. I cannot remove it with the lid in place so will have to remove it. Are there screws under the hinge cover? I do not have a mirror small enough to be able to see. Not sure how to attach an image.

No screws it's plastic brackets, nothing you can do. I have tried everything but it just will not come out. Looks as if I will have to take it into the main dealer. It may cost me a new armrest though
