Restoring lost abs long code with new vcds hex v2 pro

Post by Glen »

Hi, I lost my 2011 vw polo 6r 1600tdi abs code after removing the abs pump from one car to test in another 1600 tdi polo. On trying to recode the abs module with the new vcds hex v2 pro by Ross tech , I keep getting error 22 ( conditions not met or request sequence error). I had written down the code which I type in as the new code but I keep getting the error 22 message. Do you have any solution for this? Your help will be appreciated.

I meant what’s the actual code dump you are using

Another user on here should be able to post up a screen grab so you can compare

This is the code I wrote down from address 03 abs brakes using vcds ,before the code got lost from the memory and which I am trying to recode into the module which is displaying 36 zeros. I hope this is what you asking for.

Can you please ask one of them to post the information on your forum or email it to me. Even though that is the original code for the abs module it keeps rejecting it and displaying error 22-(conditions not met or request sequence error).

Sometimes on the ABS controllers they don’t accept coding and it has to be rebuilt on the long coding helper. Have you tried that?

No, I dont know how to rebuild the long code. I read somewhere that Iichel is able to rebuild the long code from the VIN number. I was hoping you could put me in contact with him. Another question I would like to ask is ,can i purchase a used abs module from a vw polo 6r 1600tdi hatch hack and code it in a sedan polo 6r with the same cln engine code. I have seen a matching part number for the hatch back which I would like to purchase for the sedan.

Sorry I missed out on this topic.
Could you post (or send by PM) the following things:
- Engine type (1.6 TDI? how many HP)
- Last 5 digits of your VIN
- Brake sizes front and rear
- RHD?
- TPMS?
- Hill Hold Control?
- XDS?

In essence, this is my reference for building your code:

Thanks to firegrafik.
Sometimes it might require some tweaking, because not all data is in here. It's mainly focused on the available cars in Russia.

Thanks. The last 5 digits of the VIN number are- 39137 and it's a right hand drive 1600tdi with a 77kw engine output with a CLN engine code. The car is not here at the moment, so when it gets back I will measure the brakes. I know it has brake discs front and rear and it's a 2011 model.

Sorry for not including all the required information. It's a right hand drive manual from South Africa. Would I need to measure the actual brake pad , brake disc or brake caliper for the correct brake size? I would be greatfull if you could work out the long code for me, as I have not attempted it before.
