Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
Checked ..., this is always the same thing, the money.
If optionals are not included in the purchase/configuration of a car it is logical that everything is at the limit of what is possible.
-------
off topic
Maybe now it can be understood better the reason why I always asked for the images of the fuse box, and the wires that reach the dimmer and light switch connectors to make the wiring/harnesses I had for sale. Also a car front image, to see the lights configuration, ...because all this of the optionals and the multiple configurations is not explained in any manual, only visible in the 6R itself. Even with the VIN it is not possible to have this information so specific, e.g... DRLs installed, OK, but what installation type?...
The great 6R, was and will be an unexpected gift for our hands. As I said on occasion, the perfect car to learn.
Thanks world crisis!

Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
Hi Ciclo!
Thank you for all your codings. Here is an autoscan after I used your coding for the Central Electrics and the RLS.
There seems to be a new error in the auto HVAC, not sure what it means. Perhaps in the future I will know.
The H7 now work again with the light switch on "0", the rear lights are off, no problem at all.
Do you want me to snap some pics of my wiring looms inside the car? (Dimmer switch loom, light switch loom, fuse box)
I was first thinking of retrofitting the DRL's beside the fog lamps, but taking into consideration I want to do the 6C LED headlight retrofit, it's probably better to wait for that, as I'll get LED DRL's.
Thanks again!

Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
Well, this has become very interesting, extraordinarily interesting.
About the specific legal questions and manufacture dates for each country I prefer not to comment anything because in the end we would all be right or not ...
Now at this moment you have activated the DRLs (TFL = Tagfahrlicht) and deactivated the "Dauerfahrlicht" -> permanent/continuous operating light.
(I write it in this way so that others can understand it).
https://en.pons.com/translate/wyhlidal- ... rfahrlicht (I think it's no right)
https://en.pons.com/translate?q=Tagfahr ... en&in=&lf=
The question now is to find out why we get the two faults in the automatic scan for the DRLs. For this it would be necessary to change the BCM coding again to find the correct way to activate the DRLs (TFL) in your 6R Bluemotion. (original/factory wiring like a 6R with 7H0 BCM Max but without separate DRLs)
I think I know how to do it.
I'm going to study the BCM coding in detail and now I'm back ...

Try this:
3CB029BF48A10000012805906C2B1ED15B80412F60840048200000030000
and we will have managed to activate your DRLs (TFL) and deactivate your "Dauerfahrlicht" in the correct way.
climatronic error 00457 - Control Module for Network (J519) is solved by setting adaptation channel 1 of the HVAC to value 1
... this is what iichel discovered.

Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
That is not correct iichel, the wire 0.5 mm2 (T10au/10) to which you refer is for the backlighting of the light switch and has to come from T6/5 Dimmer connector (output). Already present in any 6R (T17/17).
And the new wire we refer is to feed the Dimmer through T6/3 pin (input), this in turn will feed all the interior lighting of switches, including the light switch.
This wire has to come from T73b/4 in this case, and must be 1.0mm2 thickness (mandatory).
Therefore, it is necessary to install a new wire in the Turbodruk 6R from T6/3 Dimmer connector to T73b/4 BCM white connector so that the 7E0 BCM that we are installing works correctly (apart of your new wiring for automatic lights).
This new wire is part of the necessary adjustments to adapt the new 7E0 BCM in Turbodruk 6R.

Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
I understand you ciclo, don't worry.
There is two T10's. The T10 replacing T17 and the T10 for the light switch. I refer to the T10 replacing T17 where T10/10 is vacant in normal auto light wiring.
you refer to T10 for the light switch where T10/10 is grey/blue for terminal 58d.
I think were are talking about two different T10's

Hello !
I set the new coding, the faults of the DRL's are gone, ciclo and iichel are magicians.
The HVAC faults are still there, it doesn't really bother me. I think it's because I've got cheap climatic, not fancy pantsy climatronic.
Here are some photo's from my wiring system:
And last but not least, a fresh autscan. The faults of the microphone is still there, I haven't got time to look what's going on behind the radio. No rush.
Thanks to all people that are willing to spend their time helping and inspiring others.
Cheers.

Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
Thanks for this report. Excellent.
We have achieved something unprecedented in your/a special* 6R Bluemotion.
(We = you and me)
- from 6R0937088 to 7E0937090 BCM
- from external GW to internal GW (BCM).
- without separate DRLs from factory.
- wiring configuration.
Now I would like to know why VW (there will be good reasons for this) sold these 6R Bluemotion with activated "Dauerfahrlicht" instead of TFL ...
(Driving with parking lights is strictly prohibited except in the Scandinavian countries)
With "Dauerfahrlicht" they may say that in the front are TFL, but in the rear are the parking lights.
In my humble opinion I think the rear parking/side lights should not be lit under any circumstance with enough sunlight and good weather conditions.. If they are activated they mitigate the brake lights effect.
I have observed this circumstance in the place where I live (a place with lots of sunlight) in those that have the Scandinavian lights activated to simulate daytime running lights.
----
The rest of faults:
BCM (as I explained to you)
Waiting for you to install the new wire (T6/3 -> T73b/4) to solve:
02195 - Dimmer Switch Instrument Panel & Switch Lighting (E20)
Therefore this is solved.
Climatic
Maybe it's related to the previous fault you still have in the BCM (above).
Media Player and Telephone
This/your unit is unknown to me, but I'm sure it's easy to solve. Search for online coding and check the installation (wiring).

I've already installed the wiring you mentioned. The radio works perfectly, and so does the Bluetooth etc. I used an original VW microphone which I plugged into the wiring harness of this kit. When installing the cables for the 7E0 BCM, I think I unplugged the microphone without knowing. This is probably the reason why the faults are there in VCDS. Thank you for your concerns.
Greets.

Perfect, another thing solved.
We are very close to having a perfect Autoscan with everything Ok, and a block of improvements achieved.
The best is yet to come...

Re: Polo 6R 1600 TDI Team
Next up after making a clean autoscan is the installment of the 6C LED headlights. I want to do a step by step install, to avoid having problems interfering with one another. I think this is a chronological order:
Install 6C headlights with wiring looms for a 6R with halogen headlights
Install LWR (automatic height adjustment)
Install SWRA (headlight washer units) with R-Line bumper
I do have start stop system. Would this be a problem for the 6C LED?
Some good news (probably?)
My dad is looking into buying a T6 California with LED headlights and ACC. If all goes through, I can provide an autoscan. Are you guys interested in such an autoscan?
