Re: Dashboard swap! Seat Toledo Instrument Cluster on Cross Polo 6R
High Beam Assist
I was following Fernando's manual https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=56 ... nt#p503577 Thank you!
Necessary parts
Old mirror mounting
I used Firegrafik's stencil
Applied primer
New mirror mounting
Mirror on the place
New rain/light sensor
HBA -ON
And all light indications are ON
To activate Front Fog Light indication is necessary to change Byte in eeprom
Byte 02D4 from 7C to 7E
And Fog light should be connected to BCM or a wire T32a/30

Thanks, Shardul!
I will do it in future, but HBA works with old stalks as well.
You just need to manually return it to middle position

Re: Dashboard swap! Seat Toledo Instrument Cluster on Cross Polo 6R
I think I got some spare parts to convert a 6R stalk to a 7E0 stalk, with CC. It's the internal slider board and the cover of the stalk.

Buy the stalks in new condition from the VW dealer, it's worth it. (ASAP and https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=56 ... 90#p498666 )

I don’t want to hurry with buying new stalks because my next mod will be:
It’s a new steering wheel from Tiguan with heating
To connect the “heating”, it is necessary to mix the MQB and PQ25 slip-rings.
Modification of the slip-rings will be almost the same like here: https://www.drive2.ru/l/462910064408134206/
Probably, later I will buy stalks without CC!
Guys from D2 developing solution for “CC on MFSW” for PQ25. (On PQ35 it’s already successfully working!)
So for now I will use old stalks!

Re: Dashboard swap! Seat Toledo Instrument Cluster on Cross Polo 6R
Fernando, could you please review my current coding
I have one fault in Address 17: Instruments it appears every time i turn on ignition.
VCDS doesnt give description however ODIS-E showing this:
No communication with TPMS? but TPMS working without any faults or problems...
What could it be?
I didn't desabled Indirect TPMS, could it be the reason?
And one more thing, How to enable Safe-Lock?
I thought it's on but after the car is locked from remote, i can open doors from inside...

Heated MFSW, is a good project.

Check the Safe-lock.
I don't know how to solve the sporadic IC fault with priority 6. (direct TPMS)
6 = it's something you should not worry about.
Speculation: Could be due to the IC warning light for direct TPMS, which is not activated in ours IC if there is a warning, the warning is only with a "gong" and the information in the MFA +, "only" .
Nobody is perfect. Having both TPM systems working on our PQ25 is a luxury.
New gen. of original VCDS interfaces provide the same information that ODIS-E.

Safe lock depends on coding ?
My doors also opening from inside when locked by remote
Which byte in central electronics we need to change for safe lock ?

I understand that this fault is not significant, but still it is appears.. and i don't happy because of it!
Could be because of warning light, but if so, I haven't seen this fault in your autoscan's, Fernando!
Does anyone with retrofitted direct TPMS have seen this fault

Please, Fernando tell me more!
I need to disable warning light for TP?
Or maybe reassign TP warning light in the EEPROM?
