Help needed please!
I have recently had my engine management light on, and when reading the codes, it came up with:
P067200 - Cylinder 2 Glow Plug Circuit - Passive/Sporadic
P218500 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit High - Passive/Sporadic
So I bought a new set of glow plugs and a coolant temperature sensor and changed them.
Engine management light still on, but the Glow Plugs code no longer appears and just left with P218500.
Can anybody suggest where to look next? Wiring issue? Is there more than 1 sensor, as this code suggests it is sensor 2?
All help much appreciated

Those codes are generic and whilst helpful, are not as good as the proper VCDS codes. Have you got VCDS or access to a VAG code reader?
With the engine coolant sensor, its important to buy genuine as alot of the copy ones dont work properly, or fail prematurely. What did you go for?
Sensor 2 is the coolant return sensor.
Theres one in the thermostat housing, and another on metal pipes that run around the engine to the EGR cooler on the back of the block
Both sensors are the same part number

Unfortunately I dont have access to VCDS or VAG.
To be fair, I bought a cheap sensor from ebay, so as you suggest, it may be worth buying a genuine branded item and try that.
Sensor 2 is coolant return, are you suggesting there is a sensor 1?

Hey,
I've had the same issue with my temperature sensor. Did the genuine part sort the issue?
