I'm very sorry to read about all of this. I hope you can get some positives out of it, maybe insurance wise, but it seems to be a tough nut to crack...

For some reason that I don't know , I'm satisfactorily involved in a new BCM adaptation (from 086 to Max) and automatic lights for a T5 2011 8K0 8K1 (RHD) with the aim of installing Bixenon headlights. We'll make everything work correctly.
It is my wish to post here some images of "some" wiring I have made, in case they are useful for someone, they're almost identical to the ones I made for Bizmo or graylscott.

Read this thread from the beginning.
You all already know that I no longer sell these wiring.

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Fernando,
I have just managed to get hold of some of the factory H7 lights which are supposedly a lot better on the road.
I have re-read this thread and viewed ELSA in relation to the mod we have done and this upgrade and can't see anything that would damage any of it.
The only difference seems to be the T17/4 green and yellow wire as you have mentioned bellow. I would not have this from factory any way so this is not a worry to me.
There is also a matter of joining two wires as described here to ensure that the main beam and dipped beam work together when the main beam is on, this doesn't seem very 'OEM' but I can't seem to find the genuine way to do this wiring as VW would have done. Do you have any ideas?

There is a suggested other way with a relay here

Yes, I've the best idea for you and your perfect installation to BCM MAX adaptation and automatic lights. OEM.
Easy, simple, without wires, relays, etc...
1- Install your new H7 Headlights, plug them.
2- VCDS. Go to BCM coding and disable Byte22 Bit2
Enjoy your new H7 headlights.
(please, check again all the exterior lights and report the result, thanks)

Didn’t even think of a software solution, this is why you are the master!
These other forums don’t have the MAX like us!
Will update this once I have fitted them with some pictures

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Ive just skimmed through this topic as im a bit pushed for time at the moment, is it just auto lights that have been fitted?, i get the whole OEM idea but i've had Autolights on my 2012 T5.1 Caravelle for over 3 years from a cheap aftermarket switch from Aliexpress that i paid £30 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Car-Chr ... st=ae803_3
that i bought as a stop gap when my original switch had gone faulty, from what i have read it has all the features of the OEM method and a fraction of the cost, and a 2 minute plug and play option, as mine already has the twin headlights i didn't need to buy the loom to go in the back of the headlamp but for there is a method of re ordering the pins that i have seen, this autolight method also works on my brother in laws golf, hope this helps anyone.
I'm currently wiring up the Kufatec heated seats loom with OEM switches

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
This is the proper OEM method and also includes the Auto wipers and as such turns the lights on when it rains.
It also works as the light sensor for the internal lights, coming / leaving home etc

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Hi
I’ve been reading this topic with great interest and the vast knowledge base with members.
Apologies but again another non polo related question about my T5.1 caravelle 2015.
I have been trying to get 2 questions answered and checked may other forums but to no avail.
I’m hoping Someone May have the knowledge here
1 - I’m looking to get the folding mirrors to work on locking and unlocking the vehicle but cannot find anything for the door modules J386 / J387 coding
2 - Question regards the CH / LH function, if this can be automatically activated rather than flashing the main beam prior to leaving the vehicle
Many Thanks

Hello Cruelworld, welcome.
I guarantee you that I've searched with insistence both questions that you raise and was impossible for me to find them with my diagnostic tools.
I've these two functions activated in our Golf MK7.5 and without a doubt I'd activate them in my Polo 6R.
