Is there more to this?
Yes that is pretty much it, no need to change the complete fan box, it saves refilling and recharging the coolant and AC systems

Thanks, is there anything else to replace?

Guessing there are more thermometers and a sunlight sensor to go somewhere?

Did you buy the extra bits and fit them to the existing fan box?

Awesome job. The wiring for the heated windshield shouldn't be too hard

TPMS - not just yet I am just awaiting delivery of some corrugated tubing for running the wires externally to the module.

Great, hopefully it helps with coding/adapting for others but just need to perfect it first

So I bought the latest revision of the Discover media (5C0 035 680 G) and had the patch installed to prevent CP. luckily all features were fully activated so no cost to remove active CP or activate app connect, voice, carnet, off-road, nav etc

Unit works really well and the newer address entry in the nav is a lot better and easier.

Next on the list to have the ‘Car’ menu activated like on the skoda and Chinese VW Passat
