I have the BCM. In the weekend I will make the wiring. I buyed two Bcm connectors with wires from a dismantled Polo to have the appropriate pins.

Remember that you must respect the wires thickness, it's of the utmost importance.

Next step, after everything will work. It’s from a 2015 Amarok. The only question I have is that it has automatic gearbox. I will try to go to the dealer for online coding.

I had the feeling of brand new car when I changed my old original instrument cluster to one with MFA +.
It's a nice upgrade.

There are several of them for sale in the forum sales section. 8) 8) 8)

Original wire T17/16 from light switch connector after splicing to BCM, must be put back in the light switch?

I did the wiring and the DRL and parking lights are not working and when I switch the main beam on, the DRL(dimmed) and parking lights stay on forever even without ignition and parking lights switch off (to stop I must remove the battery +).

If I remove T73b/4 wire and put back the original wire T17/16 from light switch connector the parking lights are working. But stil no DRL.

The DRL is on (dimmed) and rear taillights are working with byte 12 bit 0 on (parking lights with terminal 15 on).

what if you disable byte 12 bit 0 and set light switch to 0?

OK.
So, let's see where we are now.
You installed new BCM? Yes/no?
You adapted all wiring according to ciclos diagrams? Yes/no?
Do you have a very recent autoscan?

I installed the new BCM. With this part "Remove original wire T17/16 from light switch connector.
Cut the contact terminal and splice this wire (e.g. with a Butt terminal) to a new 1.0mm2 wire coming from T73b/4 BCM white connector."
I have no parking lights and when I turn on main beam the parking lights remain on forever. (must disconnect battery).
I have coded the BCM and no error.
The DRL are not working at all with byte 12 bit 0 off.

With original T17/16 connected to T73b/4. (exclusively, as indicated)

1- Install a new 0.5mm2 wire from T17/16 light switch connector to T73a/45 BCM black connector (remove and isolate original T73a/45).

2- Post a new autoscan.

---------

By the way:

DRLs is total brightness.
Parking lights are with dimmed brightness.

---------

BTW 2, don't modify the BCM coding I did.

Keep in mind that these electrical installations are a combination of wires and coding.
