However, any VW dealer can tell you which BCM replaces the one you want to buy, or in its absence, the one that is available with the same functions.
As simple as that.

I have installed in my 6R a 7E0 937 090C BCM that wouldn't be able to manage your DRLs but is able to manage my DRLs because my Bixenon headlights don't have the additional module for DRLs.

What modifications are needed for Static Cornering Lights through fog lamps?
I'm waiting an answer from Vw dealer for 7E0937089 Z2G BCM. I hope for a reasonable delivery date.

Static Cornering Lights. Retrofit. (Amarok 8K0, 8K1, single cab)

Remove and isolate T17/8 light switch connector original wire (white/yellow). Remove SC60 fuse. 20Amp

Install new 0.5mm2 wire from T17/8 light switch connector to T73a/7 BCM black connector.
Install new 1.5mm2 wire from SC50 output to T73b/11 BCM white connector. New 15Amp fuse.

Left
Remove and isolate T2/1 foglight connector original wire.
Install new 1.5mm2 wire from T73b/9 BCM white connector to T2/1 foglight connector.

Right
Remove and isolate T2/1 foglight connector original wire.
Install new 1.5mm2 wire from T73b/10 BCM white connector to T2/1 foglight connector.

I ordered that one and I sent it back
Maybe it was working, I didn't know about the wires for the instrument cluster.
But it was coded for T5, at byte 18 didn't had the values 65 and 67 for Amarok, only 64 and 66 - T5 bixenon.
I ordered 7E0937089 Z2G at Vw dealer and I think It will be delivered in two weeks, one month.

There are several ways to code the car's units if you have good tools, for example the VCDS, you just have to know how to use it.
VCDS Long coding helper just is an assistant created by humans like you and me..., it's not the label/box with the secrets of the universe.

The BCM Max that you ordered and returned from Carsystems is perfect for Bixenon headlights retrofit in the Amarok, ... in short, you made a mistake in returning that BCM Max. No problem, the next BCM Max will be the same thing, but this time I'm here to tell you what to do.

Unfortunately I don’t have a delivery date for the Bcm.
The facelift is complete now with facelift grille and emblem.
