Hi,
Ive purchased a 2017 Polo 1.2 tsi and have a question
Im finding it difficult to setoff from still without either over reving or bogging down, now and again i get it perfect.
From what i can tell when i do try to setoff and lift clutch and put my foot on accelerator, the revs goto exactly 1500rpm. It doesnt feel like im making that choice and its an automatic thing.
Is this normal?
Thanks

Hi and welcome
I have 2016 1.2Tsi and notice the same behaviour when starting from rest. I can only assume it’s standard for these engines. Can’t say I’m too happy either, but I get clean getaways by slipping the clutch a touch longer while I get the revs where they need to be.
