Retrofitting LED headlights & BCM Max Adaptation+Auto Headlight with CH/LH on 2013 6R

Post by vento2013 »

Hi,
I am from India, I have 2013 6R Polo Sedan (Vento) 1.6TDi Highline, and car came with H4 single beam headlight, now I wanted to upgrade headlights with OE Bi-Xenon (with cornering light and DRL) or 6C LED Headlights. I have purchased both headlights, but not sure which one to install, so I will experience both and finalize the choice later and sell which is left. I read all available topics on this and sourced all needed parts.

Now for installation Bi-Xenon or LED, I need all forum members’ input(help), first it’s you Fernando, I need wiring from your wiring sale. And I have chosen B- Wiring for BCM Max adaptation + Automatic Lights Wiring + CH/LH.

Upgraded few things in my car,
1. MK6 MFSW to MK7 Flat bottom MFSW
2. Upgraded stock BCM 6RU937086H to 6RU937086M (which supports MK7 MFSW backlight)
3. Auto folding mirror with blinker (Ali express Module n wiring kit)
4. Polo 6C 2015 Euro spec Dual beam H7 headlight (now back to H4 Single beam, Don't want to confuse Ciclo for making wire)
5. Polo 6C complete front bumper kit
6. 16” VW Portago alloys

In India VW introduced static cornering lights from 2015, so my car does not have Steering angle sensor(G5). So if I install OE Bi-Xenon which is having cornering light function I need to install G5 and do necessary wiring. If I go for LED headlights then I will use fog light as cornering light (now I have Polo 6c Fog)

Here is the list of parts have sourced
1. Valeo BiXenon headlights 6R2941031D & 6R2941032D RHD and Hella LED headlights 6C2941035 and 6C2941036.
2. 14 PIN connector with Pins.
3. BCM 7E0937090C - Ordered and on the way (Thanks a lot, Firegrafik for all the help to source parts
4. RLS 5K7955559C (Thanks to Firegrafik)
5. 3G0857511AC 9B9 Auto IRVM (Thanks to Firegrafik)
6. Auto light switch 5ND941431 E XSH
7. 6R0959654 Steering angle Sensor(G5)
8. License plate LED
am I missing something? pls guide.
These are missing yet to procure
1) Dimmer Switch
2) Some terminal pins for connecting DRL and cornering lights

Images required for making wire
1) Relay Carrier
Pls ignore the dust
2) Light switch connector

3) Dimmer connector (In India its headlight level adjuster)

4) Fuse Box

No.41 & 49 I have used those for Auto folding mirror
5) New BCM 7E0937090C Its in transit
6) Latest Scan report

Re: Retrofitting Bi-Xenon & BCM Max Adaption+Auto Headlight with CH/LH on 2013 6R

Hello vento2013, welcome

Thank you very much for such detailed information about your Vento, whose Model Year is 'E' ---> 2014.

Please try uploading the images again. Is essential.
The easiest is to load them from the desktop of your personal computer (laptop, device, etc) in jpg or png format.

I'm afraid that the 7E0937090C BCM Max you have purchased cannot manage the LED headlights (Bixenon only), firegrafik will have to inform us of this.

Many things to talk about here. Waiting for the images ...

---
Until April 2 are holidays in my country, please be patient (you and all those who are waiting for an answer from me --many-).
On the other hand, please always keep in mind the time difference between countries. Thanks to all.

Thanks

I need to see the colors of the light switch wires. Both sides of light switch connector.
Here is something interesting (T17/11), not seen here so far. (everything is verified in Elsawin :))

Excellent!

As you can see, there is no wire in slot T17/11, but this wire is very important with BCM Max.
This wire was always present in all the previous installations.

No problem for this, I will add this wire in your wiring looms. It will be a very complete wiring that will facilitate a lot of new functions to your Vento.
I will also add the power wire (fusebox-bcm) for your Static Cornering Lighs (SCLs), regardless of which bulbs will be used for this function (Bixenon VS Foglights).

At the moment I already have all the information to make your special wiring for BCM adaptation and wiring for automatic lights. (many wires)
I'll make them as soon as possible, hmm... the next week. Enjoy your holidays.

If your new 7E0937090C BCM Max comes from a POLO 6R/Sedan (Russian manufacturing sequence) the DRLs of your LED headlights will not work because this BCM is not parameterized for LED headlights.

To clarify, do you want me to send you the Dimmer?

yes. got to know this. will try to read EEPROM and change values

No. I will source. :)

Dont want to trouble you more.. already you are helping me a lot.

6R0941333 Dimmer+Height adjuster this switch will fit? It is ok for me if height adjuster doesn't work.

I would recommend the 6Q0941334. dimmer without headlight regulator.
