Polo 1.2 2013 ran out of fuel at work so put 10 litres of fuel and tried starting, first thing was that there were no lights on the dash on ignition no:1 then the car fired then cut straight out after 2 seconds of running!!
Not done anything other than run out of fuel and try n start it???!! Any help would be brilliant 😖😖😖

maybe the fuel system needs to be bled OR some dirt from the bottom of the fuel tank is clogging your fuel lines and filters.

Turn the key few times to pump fuel all the way to the engine and then try to start. If no success, you can remove one fuel line from fuel filter and turn the key. Fuel pump will turn on and you can see if it pumps fuel correctly - catch it to some bottle.
