The 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine develops 140hp and 230Nm of torque (up by 35hp and 55Nm).
and
The mill comes mated to seven-speed DSG automatic transmission

So DQ200 can cope more than existing 175NM which is again around 25+% torque increase.
And definitely an eye brow raising to gain 35BHP ie 30% odd power increase.

Red ring for 12V socket !!
As for rear AC vents in driver armrest -- it is available with VW Vento (Polo sedan for quite some time)
And also offered in one Polo variant named Polo All Star (1.0Lt Petrol & 1.5 Diesel variant)

Thank you for all details.

What I wanted to say is that if someone in Europe with a 6R hatchback wants to install the rear vents outputs, he'll have to buy a new central tunnel and a large set of parts. :)

How do u Know they used DQ200 ? Maybe its anotherone.

Would be intresting to know if they changed something with the Engine and dont just written a new Software.

gtsportms, thanks for reply and valid question.
I cant write that i have friend/s at VW and certainly not that they have said so.
Assuming the price point and VW DSG offerings - DQ200 fits in it.
They keep on updating software, and MAY be few things so to keep it running smoother and longer.

Whatever my knowledge and reading on multiple forum is -- DQ200 (used in skoda specifically) had failure issues and part of it linked to higher torque and temperature (please correct me)
Currently 1.5 Diesel is available with DSG with 175NM torque and same 1.5 Diesel with manual option is available with 230NM torque. So MAY have tweaked/updated it with something (cheaper option) than put in a new 7 Speed DSG.
Hence i wrote DQ200.

We can get official confirmation asa some of our friend buys one :)

I wonder why a corrugated tube is used to protect the wires that reach the spark plugs. Image...

Hahah, yes, I wanted to do it, but the prices of new parts... I didn't find the used parts for this mod in Poland and ebay.de, so I gave up :P
Here is my list of parts: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10jE ... 0OdDg/edit ;) It's not hard to install, but very difficult to find necessary parts in good price

BTW. It's a bit faint that the VRS has a standard instrument cluster...

6C from the Outside, 6R Inside. I guess that VW got a lot of old 6R Parts from the interior on stock so they used it for this car :D

This cluster has top and bottom part of central display covered. So it is not like some of yours as well :(

Also all made in India vw have older 6r cluster. Since many parts are localized along with wiring localized. So moving to 6C cluster would be bit too efforts in my opinion.
