Polo 6R WRC Seat Heating in Recaro Pole Position

Hello guys,

I replaced my original seats of my Polo 6R with seat heating with Recaro Pole Position.
The Pole Position doesn't have seat heating, so I want to make a custom fitted seat heating. I would like to control the seat heating over the original buttons and control module.

The original seat heating mat of volkswagen won't fit and can't be cutted. That's why I would like to use some aftermarket carbon heating mats.
I found some heating mats, which iichel used to fit seat heating on the back seats (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-lot ... 91102.html). They have a included temperatur controller, which is needed by the original control module.

Will the heating mats from aliexpress work on the original buttons and control module? Anyone got experience with other aftermarket mats?

Yes these will work, but you'll have to connect them in parallel rather than in series.
You don't need the temperature sensor, the OEM module also does not have one.
