GTI side skirt fitting?

Does anyone know how the gti side skirt extension parts are fitted?
I'm looking at purchasing a pair from vw so they will be genuine ones not after market.
They said I'll also need brackets for each one, these are bolted onto the sill then the sill pieces attached or clipped on underneath , is there any bonding needed too?

I've attached a pic of the parts I want to fit. If some one can look and see how there's are fitted I'd be very grateful.
