No matter how I try to select the accelerator tuning, it comes up with the chip tuning. Also on the UK site: https://www.racechip.co.uk/throttle-tuning/xlr.html and the global site: https://www.racechip.com/throttle-tuning/xlr.html
Could it be that accelerator chip and tuning chip are now combined and you have an earlier version of the accelerator chip by itself?
Of course you can by it separately. Send them a mail and ask how to do it

Just a quick one. Which BGT do you have the 140 or 150hp and is your DSG the DQ200?

Edit: Also how long have you currently had the unit fitted?
140 with DSG DQ200. Optimized with a BSR Remap, K&N filter and GTI Exhaust. 180 Bhp and 310 Nm measured on the dyno.
The GTI exhausts fit?

The throttle tuning box from RaceChip is supplied as a brain box which for between the lead and the connector at the top of your pedal, coming from that is the 7 stage controller (XLR) this is one unit and cost £189.00 inc VAT. You can add the app control for £30.00 extra

I see that price. So one buys it without configuring? If one tries configuring then three options costing £129, £219, £349 are presented. This is, I presume, in addition to the basic £189? I am only asking because I have had no reply from RaceChip.
Do you have one fitted? Can you confirm that the throttle response is improved?

Yes you can buy just the XLR unit on its own and it does not need configuring as the brain box will do that for the car. If you wanted this and say the GTS chip the price would be £349 for tuning box + £189 for the XLR throttle box.
I don’t have one fitted but am looking to purchase after I get back from holiday. I will add to this with a custom exhaust and remap.

Been quoted for the exhaust bro? Your looking at £700 upwards for a Cat back system 😑

Yeah Pipewerx are about £450 for a sport exhaust I think. They have got fantastic reviews and a lifetime guarantee. It’s all from stainless too

Your up north right? I did check them out briefly but it came up with motorbike systems lol.

Once I see and hear yours maybe we can sort something out if I like :)

The intermediate pipe (6Q0253201B) and rear silencer (6R6253609BA) is a straight fit on the 6R Blue GT.

That’s amazing thanks for that!

I’m guessing that’s all the miltek is from the Cat-back, that’s all we want as decatting is not a option.

Thankyou!

I doubt it would fit. You might aswell make one from some silicone hose and a filter

That’s a shame, I wanted a proper forge intake that looked OEM, I think I’ll just invest in a performance filter for the ORM box instead.

Thanks dink

i'm not sure of the layout in the engine bay of the GT so it might be able to be modded.

the 6c gti has the battery in the boot so allows quite a large intake
