They will not fit! The BlueGT has not a front mounted intercooler!

No, it's nearly impossible, the intercooler is integrated to the intake manifold.

i'm guessing you could fit charge cooler rad and separate pump and plumb that into the in built charge cooler

so instead of using engine coolant you would have it's own dedicated cooling.

I had a lot of plans for our GT, I rung Awesome GTI & Miltek & REVO Tuning and all say apart from a Stage 1 Remap there is nothing else on offer for these polos’s, no intakes, no exhaust, nothing which sucks! Can’t even buy a Forge/K&Ninduction kit lol!

I spoke to a devil Developments and they said just buy the Miltek as some do fit the GT but may need some adjusting on the brackets...I’m sure these have a SMIC but no one supplies a FMIC.

Better off buying a GTI 🙌🏻

I think there's no fair comparison for a BlueGT or a GTI, they have different target populations.

w.r.t. intercoolers, The BlueGT 1.4TSI has a water-to-air intercooler on top of the cylinder head rather than a FMIC at the front/bottom.
This has several advantages such as lower turbo lag and shorter piping. This makes it rather difficult to upgrade, however I guess converting to FMIC should be possible if you can find or make the correct piping.

The whole engine setup is based around efficiency and economy, hence the 2 cylinder cut off & 7 speed gearbox...they just happen to have made 150bhp out of a 1.4 which is insane!

The new GTI however at 2.0 turbo and only make 200bhp, very poor in my eyes, once they develop mods for those I recon you could make 300bhp with stage 2 mods.

The 7-speed gearbox is the optional DSG gearbox that you can get on basically any Polo 6R/6C. The 2.0 TSI in the Polo GTI is an AW and another generation.
I'm not sure it makes sense to compare a 6R to an AW Polo. The 1.8T from the Polo 6C GTI makes 192hp, that's also over 100hp per litre displacement.

You can convert it to a front mounter intercooler, but that is a lot($$$) of work!

For aftermarket parts, you can use any catback from any other Polo, from the cat to the back, they are all the same.
You also have some aftermarket cold air intakes.
You can also find a 200cell cat/downpipe on ebay.
