So I just had a stage 2 remap on my polo 6R GTI 2013 plate, I've heard a lot of things about this engine not being very strong if anything was to give up any ideas what would go first?
Mod list:
BC coilovers
Scorpion decat non resonated downpipe
Airtec intercooler
DIY air filter

If it is a 1.4 Twincharger, I thought the basic design for that engine meant that it was not reliable full stop, which is why VAG dropped it like a hot brick as it was costing them a fortune in warranty and other repair work.
Of course I could be wrong there.

Well the early 1.4 TSI twincharge engines were horrible but the later CTHE engine is a bit better reliability wise. If you have the 312mm front brakes then you have the CTHE engine.

I'm pretty sure I do have the CTHE engine, I have a pretty safe map running 220, as I didn't want to push it anymore
