Gti 6c standard exhaust removal

Post by Sives »

A quick question. I have purchased a cobra sport cat back exhaust and going to get this fitted next week. Can anyone tell me if the existing cat back exhaust is in one or two pieces and if it can be removed without cutting it apart. I would obviously like to keep it if I sell the car.

Thanks

You have to cut it or remove the rear train...

It'll need cut, if you don't want to cut it get a downpipe and sport cat

I'm not sure how that will help. The down pipe includes the sports cat and isn't that long so will still get fouled up on the rear beam.
