Difference in heated seat modules

Post by golffather »

Does anyone know the difference between 6r0959772A and 6r0959772D ?
Both are valid part number, A being fitted to 6R and D to 6C

Retrofitting Audi heated seats to 6R and just trying to figure out the difference and which is the best module to use.
Audi use D version throughout the A1.

I'm using a 6R0959772C and 6R0959772D in my 6R (resp front and rear). I have no issues so far with any of them.

same as the fronts really. :mrgreen: just different lengths for the wiring loom, otherwise identical.

Great!
Any tips you can provide for wiring the Audi seats, using Kufatec loom in a 6R?

Do you know what output is provided by bcm to the heated seat module? Is it +12v to activate it?

Just wondering if i can still use the heated seats without connecting and activating the bcm

@iichel

Did you connect the rear seats to the BCM as well?
Or do they work without any BCM connection?

They will work without BCM connection as well, however I did connect them. I think the wire prevents the heater from going on when the battery cannot sustain it yet
