Having just had a speeding ticket (36 in a 30, btw) mine is now set to digital speedometer.

Just curious, with regards to oil temperature, what should it reach before being able to drive 'enthusiastically'?

90 degrees seems to be the general consensus of opinion on many of the VW forums.

I would add as a lower bound, go easy less than 50°C, personally I like to keep the revs low until 65+°C. And then never high prolonged loads until normal operating temperature.

Oil temp 35% (high/mid speed), speed 50% (low speed), time from the start 9 min. Rest = TPMS, Nav, Phone, etc.

🏎

Fourth gear and no recommendation to go down, petrol...
