replacing a "low" bcm by another "higher" for polo 6c

Post by salas »

Hi guys;
to retrofit the mfsw on my polo 6c 2015, I must changing the BCM: "6C0 937 087 A" to "6C0 937 089 C" or higher..
Is there anyone who has already upgraded his BCM on polo 6C?
Thanks.. :)

I'm afraid this will be a dealer job, since the BCM will very likely contain your CAN gateway. The CAN gateway will be subject to so called component protection (CP) on the MQB platform. So that's something a dealer needs to do for you, remove the CP and restore FEC (function enable codes).
