I've been looking into these. I've found 2 sets but unsure which to get, both Eibach. The only difference I can see is the axle weight difference so which do I get?
Set 1 front axle load 860 rear axle load 840
Set 2 front axle load 960 rear axle load 840?
Why the difference?

Different Polo models have different axle load limits. Axle load limits for the 6c Polo are on pages 50-53 of the brochure at the link below;Andy1273 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 8:29 pm I've been looking into these. Are your Eibach springs also 35/55?

Hi!
Thought I'd have your opinion on something I messed up with... I have a Polo 6c 2015 1.2 TSI 16V and fitted a Eibach Pro-Kit, but I accidentally ordered the GTI version. Rear springs are, if not mistaken, the same. But front ones are built for up to 960 kg instead of 870 kg. How would this in theory affect my car? It's a bit stiffer, not bad considering I also run on 215/40/17 wheels. High speed drive is also stable, nothing to complain about there.
Thanks in advance!

ive used both. H&r are very stiff but handle well and look loads better but eibach are best all round, subtle drop and increase handling over standard.

Re: Which lowering springs. Eibach or H&R
Is there much difference in the height of the car with each spring set? It's hard to tell from the photos as the first photo with H&R springs the photo is taken lower down compared to the photo with Eibach springs where the photo is taken higher up! In the two photos the car looks lower with the Eibach springs! Do Eibach only do the one height drop? I have a Blue GT which is 15mm lower than standard, so it would only be lowered 15mm more. Is it worth it for that?Alexnesta wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 7:32 pm I used Eibach and H&R, with H&R the car was very short and nice but it bounced all the time my car is a 6R Blue GT. After a week of use, Mount Eibach again as the car worked really badly. I bought H&R 35 / 55mm. I sincerely recommend eibach
