This is with the eibach springs fitted. It's a subtle drop and is about right imho.

The rear looks so much better. By how much did it lower by? Did you purchase a standard kit or a specific type for the height?
Any problems with speed bumps, kerbs, pot holes etc....

Think eibach only do one drop height for the polo gti and it's around 25mm

I've not had any problems with rubbing or Kerbs.

I didn't want to go to low on the rear as it starts to push the wheel forward and just makes it look broken imho

Does look better than standard, and probably not as rough a ride as the h&r ones but i do like the lower look

I agree does look better than standard.
Where may I ask did you get the springs from? VW and how did you get them fitted, independent garage or at VW?
I presume although you've had them fitted to your GTI they will also fit a 6c TSI?

I got them from a site called autodoc.co.uk (they were the cheapest around) and got a local garage to fit them.

You will struggle to get vw to fit them.

There is a part for lowering springs from vw but they can sometimes be a bit of pain to find.

So do you need this part to be able to fit them? You have a part number?

No. vw do lowering springs (well they used to) but it's difficult to find the part number. They won't be listed under your vin number

You can still get them. They are called vw racingline. But ive heard the ride is terrible and they cost a lot more than eibach or h&rs

I'd read up on what the h&r springs are like for ride quality 😉😁

I used Eibach and H&R, with H&R the car was very short and nice but it bounced all the time my car is a 6R Blue GT. After a week of use, Mount Eibach again as the car worked really badly. I bought H&R 35 / 55mm. I sincerely recommend eibach
