Re: BCM Max upgrade in Polo Sedan (Vento in india) manual highline

I have added two Butt terminals in the steering column ring wiring to prevent you from having to remove the fuse box in case of other retrofits in the future. The fuses will remain the same (like in the pic).

Image

---
I don't have the updated fuse assignment for Vento 2018 MY J (your case), but the following links will be very useful for you:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... sp=sharing
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... sp=sharing

You must bear in mind that for the creation of your new wiring I must adapt it to the existing circumstances. (fuse slots available)

Recommendation: Save all the information in a folder, I also have it if you lose it (of all the electrical installations that I made for all those who requested my wiring).

Shortly I send you my email by private message so you can contact me.

Check your inbox

I forgot to tell you that the wiring for the steering ring is a gift. :)

The price is as indicated here:  135 € + shipping cost.
Shipping costs (SP-IND): 600gr approx = 25,20€ ( pg 5, certificated)

Total = 160 €

Ciclo,

One doubt rise up, this wiring supports single side park option right. Just wanted to know.

Also you will share other coding updates after the BCM adaptation I believe. Please confirm.

Thanks much,
Sakthi

Yes to both questions.

Read the first page of my thread (links) ...
But don't code anything posted there until you check that all the lights work correctly with the new BCM coding posted here in your thread.

Otherwise, I will ask you infinites Autoscans to be able to answer to your future questions...

Ciclo,

I tried mapping fuse terminals A/B ahead of actual installation. I felt difficult in finding a / b mapping in my fuse carrier. Can you assist circling the terminals?

A or B is indicated on the back of the fusebox, near to slots. You must separate / move the wires to see the correspondence (it is not easy to see, help yourself with a flashlight).
Do not assume that it is the same position A or B in the same row of fuses. You should check these positions in each fuse slot on the back.

Click on the link of installation guide where it says180º. It will help you.

Hello Ciclo,

Successfully installed the BCM and other parts as planned. Checked all the lights and electronics and it works fine.
However getting below mentioned errors. Also attached the latest auto scan report. Please help me fixing it.

Issues facing
1. Auto close windows not working (kept the windows down and locked the car. It left the windows as it is though I set the one touch up and down already)
2. CH/LH - light switch in auto, wiper setting in auto, masked the rain sensor to check in daytime. Got down the car and locking the remote is not lighting up. However unlocking the car glows up the light. Tried by keeping the headlight stalk to both high beam and low beam.
3. Auto close windows on detecting rain in running or in park mode NOT working
4. Single side park stalk is not working
5. Central electronics errors for DRL bulbs
6. Steering angle sensor calibration error

low priority
7. DRL's going off when parking/headlights on. If possible I prefer leaving it ON always so I will have better illumination on the road.
8. DRL is NOT going off upon indicator (pls provide coding for turning this on/off on enabling indicator. Based on my likes I will turn this on or off)
9. Dimmer - I thought it will dark off completely. Is there a way to control more darkness?

Also need a list of additional features that can be enabled from this BCM max

Scan report,

I would like to thank everyone who had helped me to come this long way. Especially Ciclo who helped making wires though he discontinued it. Thanks again.

Hi, once I've read everything you've written (wtf?😂), it's clear that you don't know how some lights or systems work.

Why have you modified the BCM Max coding that I proposed? It is not necessary to answer this question.
-this coding: (my proposal)
3A904BFF48A10000013806406FEB96904980600F608C2141220000030000
-It's not like this: (your current coding)
3B904BFF48A10000013806407EEB96904980600F608C2141220000030000

---
I'll provide you a minimal assistance in those parts that are not related to BCM adaptation or automatic lights. You were warned about this several times.

Step by step to avoid confusion:

Make sure again that the window comfort feature (one touch) is set for all doors. (user's manual, owner's manual)
You must keep the remote control lock button pressed. Report the result.

2. CH/LH - light switch in auto, wiper setting in auto (It is not necessary), masked the rain sensor to check in daytime. Got down the car and locking the remote is not lighting up. However unlocking the car glows up the light. Tried by keeping the headlight stalk to both high beam and low beam.
It's how it should work.

Remember the Coming Home function is semi-automatic.
- Take out the key from the ignition switch.
- pull from the High Beam lever/flash once.
- open the driver's door and the lights should turn on.

Hi Ciclo,
ciclo wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:33 pm Hi, once I've read everything you've written (wtf?😂), it's clear that you don't know how some lights or systems work.

Why have you modified the BCM Max coding that I proposed? It is not necessary to answer this question.
-this coding: (my proposal)
3A904BFF48A10000013806406FEB96904980600F608C2141220000030000
-It's not like this: (your current coding)
3B904BFF48A10000013806407EEB96904980600F608C2141220000030000
The intention behind changing the coding is to enable emergency flashers and switch off parking lights when DRL is active. If at all require I can revert to your coding. Rest of the options I didn't change.
ciclo wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:33 pm I'll provide you a minimal assistance in those parts that are not related to BCM adaptation or automatic lights. You were warned about this several times.
I'm pleased. Thanks.
ciclo wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:33 pm Step by step to avoid confusion:
Make sure again that the window comfort feature (one touch) is set for all doors. (user's manual, owner's manual)
You must keep the remote control lock button pressed. Report the result.
Verified once, the comfort feature is all set. One touch up/down works fine from driver door switches, also the remote operation works fine.

Thanks,
Sakthi

Please, keep calm for the rest of supposed issues, at this moment my internet service provider is giving me a low quality signal instead of the one I have contracted.

We all know how difficult it is to do something in these conditions.
