Where are the connecters and wire for boot lamp

Post by ma444 »

My boot lamp has stopped working. It's not the bulb, fuse or switch. I took the boot trim off and therr is no sign of leaking etc

Someone has suggested it could be a broken cable where it comes through the boot lid. Which one of the tubes does it come through and how do you get them off.

And someone has said there a connector between the light and the boot. I can't find it. Can someone help

Isn't the boot light in the the boot so wouldn't go to the boot lid.

I'd be double checking the lamp is fitted correctly (non led one) and making sure the connector is pushed fully home.

Yes checked bulb and replaced. Its just that it seems there is a break in the cable between the lamp and the switch in the lid. The wire go from the lamp to the switch in the lid

You sure the switch is in the lid and not in the latch?

Pretty sure they are in the latch in the boot.
