I put Eibachs on my R-line and was dissapointed. The front dropped quite much (same as the blue car). I could not get up and down driveways without scraping the front spoiler. For me the ride was also stiff and choppy. There is one bump in my road that would jar the whole car quite badly.

Against all what I read here I then bought 2015 GTI springs. The drop was a little less but the ride is transformed. The ride is still stiff but the springs are very compliant and have that OEM ride quality. That bump in my road is now just a hiccup.

I picked up the GTI springs from ebay for £30 so they are even a bargain.

this GTI Springs are not made for your car because its much lighter then a GTI and the undercarriage balance is now disrupted. Ends in Damaged Tires and dangerous behavior in extrem situations.

My car is 100kgs lighter than the GTI, 70kg than the BlueGT. I won’t lose any sleep over that.

Handles and rides like a dream now and I really work it hard. Being more compliant than the Eibachs means a sharp bump doesn’t unsettle or unstick the tires when fully loaded in a corner.
