Hi these settings are not for your polo abs because the abs coding is only 25 byte long ... must be for golf abs..
As the seller talks about ABS coding; I think it is included in the coding of the PDC system.
I checked also in[03] break-ABS coding of the polo 6C CARAT PLUS (highline). and I found this differences with my polo:
03-Freins ABS --

21DD2885492C33C9091C00690058841492CC9000000DC9098700 :Carat_plus

which bytes/bits are concerned?!!

don't car massimo23; I tried the Bit 5 (not bit 4); and nothing as I told you  .

No problem.
I looked over loads of different abs coding in regard to pdc installed and nothing appears consistent in the coding.

Hi everyone
I’m having the same issues with the same module.
Anyone find out the coding?
And how did you install the software to show up on the mib unit display?
Thanks

I would like to reply on this topic, because I see you're suffering to find solution on your problem.
I will try to reply on your questions.
First of all, all parking modules 5Qx919xxx have 3 things:
1) Coding
2) Adaptations
3) Parametrization !!! Very important point...
Parametrization concerning equipment of your car, relating to quantity of buzzers, braking system, etc
For example, if you have EPB brake (automatic electric brake), it must be coded into Parametrization.
Remember, you can code it ONLY with Odis Engineering Online or offline if you you have xml specific file to your equipment... You can do it also with VCP (It hasn't all types for all type equipment).
VCDS cannot access to it...

Modules that ending by 283, used only for rear 4 sensors.
294 = 8 sensors, 4 rear and 4 front.
298 = 12 sensors, most of the time used in automatic parking.
PLA = automatic aid parking, 12 sensors.

Modules that starts by 5Q0 don't have emergency automatic braking during parking based on parking sensors.
5QA and 5QD are modules that have emergency braking during parking.

DON'T FORGET, physical button !!! On/Off Parking (like disable/enable stop start, etc). Without it you will get errors like starter of topic.

So, if you never had parking aid system and wants only standard parking rear/font aid, for you specifically, you need only 5Q0919294 (A,B,C doesn't matter). If you want add emergency automatic braking to 8 sensors, you need 5QA or 5QD.
It means, you can also buy your module on ebay and resellers of used parts...

P.S:
Automatic Parking Aid and Emergency braking during parking need bi-directionnal ABS sensors on rear wheels (to detect if you car moving forward or backward)...
For this you also need ABS/ESP system (module) that supports this functionnality ! If you have ABS with 30 bytes coding, normally, it's supporting it. If I remember , you can find it on bit 26, F0 if you have bi-directionnal abs sensors.

Hi, I have purposely registered to reach out to you, as you seem like a person that might now the answer for my question - which could easily occur also for a Polo owner.

I don't own a Polo, but a Superb II which had PLA from the factory, but I wanted to replae the PLA module for the one that activates itself when slowly approaching to the obstacle, so I bought a 1K8 919 475 D at the aftermarket. I replaced my default module and it works - it beeps and it parks on its own, but no ops360 displays on my RNS315 unit. I know that it is because the module has a firmware inteded for mib std2 unit (which I will install in the future). I am almost sure that it is only the matter of changing the BAP protocol version from 4.0 (as it has now) to 3.3 (which was the value at my default module), but I can't code that as VCDS gives me an error 31 (even after I input security code). Is there a way to program this myself? I think I read that it is the matter of downgrading the firmware-is it so? Can I program it with vcp 5.5.1?

/EDIT: Since I got so many responses and help, I will post how I solved it. It turned out indeed to be the matter of BAP protocol changing to 3.3 from 4, but this parameter was embedded into firmware of the D version of the module. What I had to do was simply to find and change the firmware of the module from D to E and then parametrize it. The OPS works on RNS315 now and when I will switch to MIB STD2 unit, I will just get back to the D firmware. And yes, I did it with VCP 5.5.1 (aka vcp6).

Hi to all,

I order to carsystem a 4K rear pdc radar kit (https://www.carsystems.eu/new-vw-polo-6 ... d1248.html)
I install but without success yet, :( i have some interrogation, expect you can help me.

I didn’t receive any instruction for installation and coding, i ask carsystem, receive them by email but seeems to not fit with my car (Polo 6c tsi 2015 90cv)

First question is it normal that the module got only one wire on it ? The second is empty, i ask carsystem but no answer.. i didn’t find old module in the place (on back left)

For coding, they give me this
Address 19 (CANbus unit) -> Installation list -> 10 pdc [SELECT]
Address 10 coding according to the equipment of the car
PDC coding
5F Coding
Adaptation Channels
(11)-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_pdc change to Activated
(13)-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_pdc_over_threshold_high change to Activated
(19)-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-parking_assist_0x0A change to Activated
(20)-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-parking_assist_0x0A_msg_bus change to Terminal 15. (Not present in my choice)
(5)-Car_Function_List_CAN_Gen2-PDC_audio_lowering change to Available
(6)-Car_Function_List_CAN_Gen2-PDC_audio_lowering_msg_bus change to Suspension data bus (Not present in my choice)

For can high and low i use the wiring of quadlock, is it good ?

Thanks fir your help

You must connect the PDC module to the powertrain CAN instead. I found it easier to tap the CAN lines from the power steering module, located near the steering column.

Hi, are you sure it can't work from quadlock ? The PDC is correctly detected. Because i must remove steering wheel to access can lines it seems, i've got 2 screw behind :(

About the PDC, is it normal that i've got only one connector plugued ?
