I'm trying to gather a little information regarding correct part numbers associated with timing chain, tensioner and few other bits and bobs but I'm not sure I'm reading the date format correctly. Anyone a bit more clued up on it's use than I am?
03F109158K
camshaft timing chain
D >> - 06.11.2011 (Is this 6th Nov, 2011 or 11th, June, 2011)
*
Period: 1109 - 1111 (Is this Nov 09 to Nov 2011?)
--------------------------------------------------
03F109158G
camshaft timing chain
D - 07.11.2011>> (Is this 7th Nov, 2011?)*
Period: 1111 - 0712 (Is this Nov 11 to Jul 2012?)
I assume the D >> indicates, "Up to and from" that date?
Cheers
ETKA date format?

Re: ETKA date format?
The way these two dates flow one from the other, I'm going for that it is the same way as we write dates and not the American way!
The >> is up to and when used the other way is from.
The period might be engine plant manufacturing periods. Though if it is just months years, that would work better!

Yeah, now I've looked at it again it does make sense in European format. That also falls in with the "period" format 1109 -1111>>1111-0712.RUM4MO wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 10:20 am The way these two dates flow one from the other, I'm going for that it is the same way as we write dates and not the American way!

Cheers anyway, I'm only looking. I'm trying to convince myself getting the timing chain done would be worthwhile preventative maintenance. While at the same time my wallet is saying chance it, it will never go... LOL
